A Green Christmas

I'm dreaming of a green Christmas...

that's not racked with debt galore!

I happen to be budgeting right now. Lord, help me stay financially green and really remember what this season is all about.

The Christ child came that we might be liberated; freeing us from the debt of sin. How ironic that at this time we often become significantly finanacilly indebted--becoming slave to the lender.

And the borrower becomes the lender's slave.

Isaiah 40:31 is my sustaining verse. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
