Flower scared Weed
There is nothing like being startled awake at 2:20am. Sound asleep, and I hear a thump, thump, thump...feet hitting the floor, in fast succession. At the same time I hear a kind of strange cry/scream, "Mom, what is that!?" Dh woke up a little faster than I did, I was groggy. Turns out the cat, Flower, had been scratching at Weed's window, wanting in the nice warm house.  Even though it was just the cat, Weed did not want to go back to her bed. I heard her go into the bathroom. An hour later she was STILL in there! Finally, I got up, turned the heat down, and got a drink. She heard me up and came out. She did go back to her own bed, but none of us slept very well. So, no more cats in the house. Period. (you would have thought after Flower ate the bird and threw it up, that cats in the house would have already been banned, wouldn't you?) Have a blessed day! |
