Hello all. Guess I am feeling kind of melancholy this morning. Or just practicing wishful thinking. What would you do with $500, if you could spend it any way you wanted? At first I am tempted to say, "Pay a bill," but, hey, the bills aren't going anywhere soon, so this is what I would buy: Strong paper plater, plastic forks and spoons, plastic cups, paper towels, (Bounty, to be exact), toilet paper, (Cottonelle w/aloe-that stuff rocks! I hate Charmin) canned and frozen veggies, various supplements, Aveeno lotions, band aids, Tylenol, fragrance free soaps, Jason shampoo and conditioner, some convenience foods for family.......let's see, do you think I'd have any money left after all that. Probably not. I would love to be able to stock up on those items. We have the room to store them. I would also love a freezer full of meat...ground beef, beef and pork roasts, chicken breasts, bacon. Speaking of the freezer....... I want to get mine cleaned out and defrosted next week. There is stuff in there that just needs to be cooked and given the dogs! Also need to clean out the fridge/freezer, too. Then I will know what I do have, and what I need to buy. It is so hard to eat healthy! (and expensive) One thing I LOVE......Reese's pb cups....with my morning coffee...mmmm. SO not good for you, BUT, it actually does not raise my blood sugar. Maybe I should buy some organic dark chocolate, and natural pb......then I would feel less guilty about eating it. Well, that furnace ain't gonna fill itself....brr.....my temp gauge says it is 9 out this morning. Probably my mil, who lives behind and uphill from us, has 0-3. Their's always reads way less than ours. Have a blessed morning!! Oh, oh, oh......speaking of blessing! We are getting the insurance money from when a deer hit us! Halelujah! (sp?) Thanks for the prayers!!!! |
