Don't want to be left out......

So I caught the same crud everyone else had. Sore throat, hack and cough, clear throat, hack and cough some more, try to spit, repeat. My throat started getting scratchy last week, Wednesday night, and by Friday I was miserable. But, ya know.....I thought, I'll see if I can get over it. Yeah, right. I went to doctor yesterday, and she gave me some antibiotics, and more importantly.....cough medicine w/codeine in it. I showed it to my hubby, and told him it was so I could sleep, and he could too. I actually felt like doing a little today! We did some school, then cleaned out the blazer. That was a mess! We are a family of pigs! It is much better than it was, but it needs professional help. (so do I for that matter!)  I washed 3 loads of clothes, and helped hubby transfer some dirt/bark to an old water trough we are going to use for our butterfly garden. I picked up in a spare room, vacuumed it, and started picking up in the puter/school room. I am moving the school room to the spare room, so I can SHUT THAT DOOR when company comes. The puter room has no door, and it is usually a mess! When I get that cleaned up, I am moving a rocker that is in our bedroom in, facing the window, that looks out at the road and field. That is about it for now...sorry I have been gone....but I am on the mend, now. I will try to catch up with your blogs by the weekend if possible...Dukygirl......glad you are getting some nice weather. It was nice here today, too. |
