Some Great Prince Caspian links

Posted in everything else

I have some really great Prince Caspian links for all of you fans out there.

The first, even if you are not a fan of the movie, is an incredibly breathtaking 3-D interactive map of Narnia.  This thing is just really cool. You can click on certain spots and you fly there across the terrain of Narnia.  The link is here.  Hint: the weird looking circle on the bottom of the map to the right of the middle is a magnifying glass. Just click on it with your mouse and move across the map.

The next is two different games: Gryphon Attack and Castle Escape from Miraz's castle.

Now the last link I have for you is just really neat.  You can upload a picture of your self and see what you would look like as a Narnian Creature: Giant, Faun, Dwarf or Centaur.  I would like to see myself as a size 2, but I digress.  The link is here.

And of course there is the official website at the Offical Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian Movie Site.

I have not had a chance, or the money, to see the movie but I heard it is incredible.  My question for those of you who have seen it, does it follow the book?

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 - Prince Caspian/Narnia movie

Posted by Kristi

We watched this movie last week-it has been quite a while since we read the book, so I can't say whether it followed along with it exactly, but most of it seemed the same. It was a good movie, even my 5 yr. old sat through it. The best part was near the end when Aslan made the river rise up to drown the enemies on the bridge-the river became a wall of water that looked exactly like Jesus, and the scene lasted a long time; I was simply tickled pink because I know a lot of people who read the books miss the religious meaning, or want to ignore it. The only downside was that the fighting scenes lasted way too long, but I suppose that is to be expected in this day and time. I think it lasted 2 hours or a little over that. Thanks!
