The Flu is at my house!

Posted in everything else

Yep, you read that right. The flu has hit our home.  The regular not the piggy kind that everyone is freaking out about. The hubby came home from work with it.  Now I am trying desperately to keep myself and the kids and the grandparents and the great-grandparents from getting it.  Sigh; not holding out much hope.  Well, at least the turtles and dogs cant get it...can they?  Drat, where is the vet's phone number?

So I may be scarce for the next week.  Hope all of you are keeping well!

My prayers for a speedy recovery and the economy size supply of tissues (whatever kind makes you happy!) so that you don't run short. May your family feel better soon.

In the meantime, laughter is the best medicine, so I suggest an activity that will make you laugh!

Thanks for your comments. Sorry I haven't written back sooner, I've been out of it these past two weeks myself, between carting everyone around and having two wisdom teeth removed earlier this week. And now my allergies have been kicked up a notch but the weather. :oP

Get well soon!
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina

Sorry to hear that your family is ill. I hope you all heal up quickly.

Here at the hospital, they are constantly talking about the H1N1, and setting up all kinds of precautions. I start getting trained in ER this week, which is where they actually do the testing for H1N1.

re: "have fun but dont put anything in your mouth"

Sounds like a life lesson if I ever heard one!

I'm so sorry the germs are spreading. I hope the turtle makes it. Especially after all you did to prevent it from becoming an experiment! :o) Take care of yourselves, this too shall pass.

Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
