I feel so bad, it has been forever since I last left a comment here- or come to think of it, when was the last time I commented anyone? Sorry about that!
We were talking about the presendential candidates, weren't we... Personally I really, really don't like McCain. I think he is really liberal and the only thing he is good on is the war.
But then, I haven't been looking him up in a long time.
And I don't know much about Obama- I have heard some bad stuff about him, but Hillary Clinton scares me so much more with her stance on kids and parental rights. It is really hard for me to believe he could be worse than her. I realllllllllllly don't want her to be president........... Like reallllllllllllllllllllly don't want her to be president......... I want Huckabee to be president! :-) Maybe McCain will be disqualified... or Huckabee will save the world and then everybody will vote for him...
Ha ha...
Nope, never seen Stargate. Seen one Star Wars, but I don't know if that is at all similar.
My book tastes are really wierd. I can't stand a lot of new fiction; it is to me really boring. Then on the other hand I read a lot of old books (by D.E. Stevenson, Elizabeth Goudge, etc.) that most people I know would fall asleep in the middle of. I think it really depends on the style of the book. If it is a book meant to be exciting, it had better be exciting or I don't like it at all, while a book that in comparison is as dull as dirt I like much better because the author isn't trying to make you faint. Know what I mean?
I have read some James Herriot and all of the Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle - and yeah, I do think I spelled probably both those names wrong.
I really have to go now, but I promise I won't drop off the face of the earth again! At least... not for a while...
God Bless,
Christina
