I've been so busy lately... But I always say that. :)
Today I went downtown with Mama. We were actually trying to find a swimsuit for me because I'm going to California with my brother next week. We looked EVERYWHERE!!! I haven't owned a swimsuit for a couple years and it's been longer than that since I've actually been swimming so we had no idea what size I was. But we finally found one, thankfully. So then we went and had pizza and Pizzacato, which is the best place to get pizza. Then we walked around a bit and found this little retro store. There was actually some really interesting stuff there. We found this really cute yellow 50s dress that fit and everything! I really like it. I'm thinking about getting either a yellow neck scarf or a older style of necklace to go with it.
I love going downtown because there are so many interesting people there and the buildings have so much more character than in most other places. I love all the brick too. :)
Not much else is going on here right now. Have any of you seen "The Gladiator"? It's really sad and rather gory, but it's one of my favorite movies now. I cried so hard when I watched it. :'( It's such a great movie. That and "Remember the Titans". I just saw both of those for the first time really recently.
I can not wait for the beginning of Fall. At the beginning of a new season I get really happy and excited, though I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's the change in the air. I used to hate Fall, but now I love it. My favorite season is always the one I'm in. There's always so much going on and so much to see. :D
