Posted By Nicole

Hi guys.

How are you today? I can't do your tags till I get home because I can't copy and paste!! Tried that many times (don't know why!).

I might get a blue camera. It's $200 in U.S dollars so it's $400 in A.U dollars so I don't know if I will get it on here or not but I want it in blue! Blue and Pink are my favorite colours and lime green and yellow are my favorite as well! I better go, bye!!

• December 13, 2009 - In Love

Posted By SuperAngel in Waiting for My Knight... My Hopes
I am soo adoring not only this song, but the meaning behind it. Brayden and Talitha wanted their marriage to be an example to all of how the Savior feels about His people: Us.
This is just beautiful and precious!

Such a wonderful reminder that we need to be constantly ready for our bridegroom to come get us!
Matthew 25:6 It was the middle of the night when the cry rang out, `The bridegroom is here! Go out to meet him!'
I'm so looking forward to the day when my bridegroom comes! I'm in love with this song! :D

Hii, every one!! So I’m pretty sure I failed when I said I was going to try to keep up my blog, but I hope to do better this time!! One of the reasons I haven’t been here is because of “Facebook” (besides being incredibly busy!!) but I quit my facebook, and soon found I miss writing on line and talking to friends, and quite frankly missed the homeschool blog and every one on here!! So I hope to get to talk to all of u again!

So I think its been over a yd since I wrote anything on here, &  a ton of stuff had happen since then but I seem to  not be able to think of anything right now…..

Lets see……

My House

Well, we had our first camp this summer! It was a all girl teenage camp. Even though we had plenty of kids running around all week. It went really well and I know for a fact that all the girls can’t wait to come back next summer!! I was able to be one of the head counselors, and I really enjoyed working w/ the girls and I learned a ton of stuff too!!

My Barn

We had another camp later in October, this time it was a family day camp. And that was sorter but it went really good. All the family’s totally enjoyed it, I don’t think there was one family there that dint tell me more than once how much they enjoyed it!!

I think one of the reasons that the parents enjoyed it so much— is with all the things family’s try to do these days, rushing hear and there doing this and that,  in the end they don’t really ever get to slow down enjoy the life Yahweh had given them and enjoy there family!! The family’s totally took it easy with there family,  got to have fellowship with other Christians, and had a lot of fun at the camp!!

And how could the kids not enjoy it with hayrides, bond fires, and horse back riding!!

I will post picks of both the camps as soon as I can, but if u would like to get to see a really good post on the All Girl camp u could go to my

~~~mom’s blog~~~ .
Thats just one of them though, I think she did nine or ten of them!! There all great, and the pics are a lot of fun to look at even if u dont have enough time to read all of them!!!
The Windmill and the Milk Shed
We have also taken several trips this last fall and I hope to write about them & put some pics!!
And then there is the Tea Party I did for my sisters 11th
Birthday, that one
will be a fun one to write about!! It was a really cute party, but I think my mom is going to beat me to that one, I’ll still write something about!! =)
  And then we had two baby horses born last spring, my mom has also done two totally awesome post on that!!, but I’ll put some picks up on my   owned blog. There’s a lot more that has happen then that, but I guess I’ll write about it as I remember. J       Ok well I’m really happy to be back on
The sea is very calm like it can rock you off to sleep.
I can hear the waves splashing the thick glass window but nothing happnes.
I don't see dolphions, sharks or whales while I'm out at sea.
Cruises makes me relax, makes me forget what's been happening at home, makes me think about positive things.
The crew members onboard are nice, they help us get to the place where we wanna go, so we don't get lost.
The food on here are so delicous.
• Friday 11 December 2009 - My day today
Posted By Nicole
Hello.
How are you? I'm good but really tired. It's 10.45pm here. I'm in the internet cafe, I have 10 mins to write then I have to go back or my mum will be worried. Today has been a great day. I really enjoy cruising.
Today, I woke up at 8.30am, had breakfast. Talked to these people who were from California and Arizona. Really nice people! Then after breakfast, I posted on here so if you wanna read my last post, it's just below. After that, I went to the Gym!! It was so cool there. I did 5 mins on the walking machine and 5 mins that makes your legs move up and down.
After that, I replied to my pen pal, Ashley who's from A.Z and I'll post her letter tomorrow 'cause we will be in port!
At lunch, I tried a burrito and I love it, it's so yummy! Oh yeah, I burnt my hand today. It happened at breakfast, I got some coffee and as I was walking along, it splashed all over my hand, mostly on my right hand and little bit on my left. It hurt really bad but it's fine now, no burn marks :)
Tonight we had the formal. So fun! I wore a pretty dress. It's purple with flowers on them, the bad thing about it is when I went to my stateroom to get it off and get changed. I couldn't get it off so I had to cut it, now, my dress is ruined. Ahhh! I'm so embarrassed now, :(
I better go, goodnight!
• December 10, 2009 - CcubedN
Posted By SuperAngel in Food-Health
I don't remember how I came up with CcubedN, but when I did everyone LOVED it and it is a family favorite. Its also quick and easy which makes it great for when the day gets away from you and you realize its after six, the kids are hungry, dad is on his way home and you haven't made dinner. :D
CcubedN stands for Creamy Cheesy Chicken and Noodles. Pretty explanatory, eh?
Ingredients:
2-3 Chicken Breasts
1 6oz. package of Cream Cheese
1-1 1/2 cup Shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
2-3 cloves Garlic
2-16oz. packages of Noodles. (Whichever you want. I like Penne Rigate)
1/2 cup Milk
a little bit of ranch dressing (my secret ingredient)
Directions:
Put the noodles in a pan of boiling water to cook. Cook the chicken all the way with the garlic, onion, and italian seasonings. Chop up the chicken into small pieces and put back into pan, adding in the Cream Cheese, Ranch and Milk. Medium heat til soft and creamy. You may have to add more milk to get the right consistency of creaminess. Keep on low til the noodles are done.
When the noodles are done, pour the sauce over the noodles, and stir well. Make sure the noodles are covered with the sauce. Put in a oven safe dish and shred some MJ over the top and bake for about 15minutes on 400' or until the cheese is slightly brown and crunchy on top.
Serve with your favorite veggies. We had it with Chilli Corn Salad for dinner, but its also really good with Fried Green Beans too.
That is my own special recipe. Its simple and easy and cuts down on your time in the kitchen with is GREAT for me. ;)
• Thursday 10 December 2009 - Day 1
Dia duit a shean - Hey!!!
How are you? I'm good. I'm on the cruise ship now and it's so cool (and awesome). It's only 10.50am here so my day hasn't really started 'cause I just came back from breakfast so I'll tell you how my day went yesterday.
Yesterday, I woke up at 6.30am, had a good sleep, better than the one on June 22nd, remember I couldn't sleep and I was so tired!!! Ok, well, Mum and I left the house at 9.00am on the dot, got to Sydney at 10.30am. Saw Uncle Ray and Barbara. They were on their deck waving hello to us, I had the giggles 'cause I was really excited!! My other aunt, Kerrie, and uncle, Jeffery, and my nana tagged along as well, but they were staying on for the day!
So we got on at 12.00pm, went to my stateroom, my number is C216 so we are at the front of the ship!! Kind of cool isn't it? After we went to our room, I had a walk around, went up to the nightclub because my aunts and uncles (and nana) were there. I went to the cinema to see UP! The movie is so good, funny (and it was kind of sad at times) but I enjoyed it! After that, I just walked around and yeah!
Around 9.00pm, we left Sydney and I took some photos, they will be on here on January 5th! (I'll promise!)
The ship I'm on is called 'Diamond Princess'. Do you notice the name? 'cause it was in Vancouver, Canada all the year to do the 7 day Alaskian trip!
I'm gonna go now, 'cause I'm on here limited time so better go. I'll be on tomorrow afternoon, 'cause we will be in port then! We'll be in Melbourne, Victoria. I'll take some photos, okay!
Slan go foill - goodbye for now!
• Wednesday, December 9, 2009 - Taste the Atmosphere
Posted By GraceElizabeth in Poetry
Just for fun!
Taste the Atmosphere
The sky revolves around the earth as I lie on gossamer turf
Just sipping the clouds. They taste like my dreams and a sunflower gleam.
With a sparrow-splash here and there, all blended as I smile and stare.
Spectacular is everywhere.
If you would open your mouth and your eyes
To taste the indigo sky
You'd fall overboard with your daydreams on the rise.
So top-heavy because they go to your head.
Your veins will rush with sunset flush instead.
And you'd never go back to bed.
Sometimes the sky gets tangled in the branches as they dare to tease
The wind who always wins. And the stars get stuck in a leafy hug.
Some of the dust brushes off. It floats down and makes me cough.
But it tastes like burning lemon drops.
If you would open your mouth and your eyes
To taste the indigo sky
You'd fall overboard with your daydreams on the rise.
So top-heavy because they go to your head.
Your veins will rush with sunset flush instead.
And you'd never go back to bed.
When you've tasted the atmosphere everything else begins to smear into something sublime.
A glorious water slide.
Just let yourself glide.
If you would open your mouth and your eyes
To taste the indigo sky
You'd fall overboard with your daydreams on the rise.
So top-heavy because they go to your head.
Your veins will rush with sunset flush instead.
And you'd never go back to bed.
