Consider The Lilies - Luke 12:27
• Jan. 15, 2008 - Silly!
While I was checking my children's lessons yesterday, my son (6 1/2) told me he had a question about college.
"Mommy, when I go to college, will they teach me how to check my children's lessons? I need to know how to do that when I am a Dad."
I looked at him, smiled and said, "No, son, you will not learn that in college. When you get to be a parent, you will learn how to check your children's work then. That is when Mommy learned."
This seemed to satisfy him for the moment. Of course, he is still asking me when he will get his "back of the head eyes" - I have not given him a satisfactory answer about that one yet, it seems. |
