Baby G got tooth number 4 last week (where IS that steak, Carol, LOL!). He is still crawling backwards with ease, spinning to get what he wants. However, if one of the cats is in his line of vision, he will take a couple of lurches forward. Those poor, poor cats when he gets going finally. They will only rarely come down to the main level, I suspect.
We have gotten the better part of the garden in. We have decided, that, based on the news we have been reading (don't hedge your bets on what the Main Stream Media is feeding you), we are going to expand the garden a bit this week. We have the supplies to do it - just have to get it done. I planted my flower seeds today, hung out 3 loads of laundry, weeded my back flower beds, told my beloved where to plant the really cheap rose bushes we bought at Menard's (after all, you do save Big Money at Menard's, lol - don't ask - my weird sense of humor kicks in with Menard's ads), swung the baby to sleep 3 different times in the porch swing (we got that free from our neighbor - how cool is that?!). Made supper and served it outside, then cleaned it mostly up (still have to load the dishwasher).
I am still astounded how quickly my energy level goes down still. But, I can say that my tolerance level is getting longer each time (okay, I typed a large portion of the above paragraph after I typed this sentence. For where my energy levels have been, I got a lot done!). I keep contemplating bringing the exercise bike upstairs so I am much more likely to use it - but then I have those horrid mom visions of Baby G cruising over and either sticking his fingers in the way or his head in the way of the pedals. I guess it is bette in the basement and he can either play up here with the children or play in C's non-walking walker thingy in the basement...
Anyway, that is most of what I can come up with at this time of night (unless it something silly I stick up on Facebook - what is the point of that website again??).
It souds like things are going well at your place. I sure do miss seeing and chatting and getting more ideas from you. Maybe one day this summer you can drop in at Marx Park and say hi. I know my girls would love to ply with your girls and I would love to see you and the baby.
Sounds like baby is doing well. I can understand about the cats, well, especially my cats can appreciate what your cats are going through lol!
I wish we could do a garden. I have seed but have never done it before so it seems overwhelming. No one to help me with it so it has yet to happen. I pray for provision.
