my life!!! in the country!!!

HALlOWEEN

Here are the pumpkins we carved.

The boy in the picture is my brother Matt

LOL isnt he handsome!!

Here is one of our school projects.

I found the catterpillar in our feild. I brought it in.We fed him milk weed he grew very large.

Then he spun him self a crysalis and stayed in there for 12 days.

In the picture above you can see him after he emerged!!!After butterflys emerge from there crysalis they have to hang upside down for a couple hours untill there wings dryIf they don't they may NEVER be able to fly.Did you know that butterflys can cover up to 2,000 miles before there journey ends for there winter migration?

Isn't it AMAZING how god made something SOO small and kinda ugly turn into some thing so large and BEAUTIFUL!!It is also AMAZING how every thing works with or without us.

Take time to notice all the little things that seem SO ordinary and you might just realize how Miraculous they really are.

Thanks for dropping by. We do just love the turkeys. They also will keep the tick population down. We plan on getting more in the spring. Have a great weekend.

I almost for got to comment about your butterfly. That is so cool that you got to watch the process of it. You are so right about noticing the small things that God has created.

Thanks for dropping by my blog! Your pumpkins turned out great.
About the pear syrup- it is REALLY good. All my kids love it. I do not have a pear tree that produced this year (too small) so when the local market had pears on sale I asked if I could buy a whole box, they then discounted it even farther. That is how we made our pear stuff this year. You can get online and google a recipe or if you cannot find one let me know and I will send you one. Have a great day!!

It looks like you live a wonderful life on your farm. I love the pictures of all the animals from last spring! We raised some caterpillars into butterflies a few years ago, my kids loved it. It is amazing how God set up this world and how it all works.
