Friday, November 9, 2007 - Cross Stitching
For school mom taught us cross stiching. So I deside to do a book marker for a friend. I got on the computer to check what I could do. So I decided to put her name down the middle and then I am putting a cat on it. The first day I got mad at the work and was about to quit and then yesterday and today, I have been having a lot of fun with it. I am almost done with it.
Since we are doing this for school we all are going to do one. Littlebro12 is making a frog that glows in the dark. Mom is makeing Littlesis7's ladybug one. So now Littlesis7 is making a cat on which is easier for her to do. We're are all having fun.
Mom back awhile go, in 2000, before Littlesis7 was born. Mom was on bedrest for awhile so she had Dad go out and buy her one. Then she made that for Littlesis7. So Mom wanted us to do one.
Well Grama and Gumpy are here for the night. They will be leaving to go South for the winter at the end of the month. I hope you all have a great weekend. Love in Christ, Country Rose

Friday, November 2, 2007 - Creative Writing
My favorite subject is language arts. I love to do creative writing especially now. Last week mom was doing a creative writing with us. She then told us to us the Thesaurus to make our words more catchy. We were supposed to write something about are favorite ________. So I picked my favorite food. My favorite food is tacos. So that whole paragraph was on why I like tacos. Then the next day we were supposed to write how we learn best. I asked mom if I could write about my favorite subject also. After I was done writing the paper I grabbed the thesaurus and went to town. You can read my creative writing on my mom's blog.
Then last Friday mom said that our creative writing is to write a story about a bush who wants to become a tree. So this creative writing really doesn't make a lot of sense but it has a good moral. Another thing is that some of the words don't really go in the right place and half I don't know what they mean. So enjoy!

The Day as a Tree
One day there was a mournful bush. This hedge's term was Philip. These days Philip was the simple shrub in the woodland. He was such an outcast. One day the unique tree was arranging to have a celebration. Philip was depressed because, he couldn't maintain. The improverished, forsaken shrub sat on the inclement turf all abandoned. Penniless and forsaked, Philip had no fellow mate of accumulation. Five days elapsed and Philip was augmented with being a bush.
He said "I aspire to be a tree"
The utmost of and impromptu a mysterious Genii came absent of the inclement, mositened ground. The Genii made Philip a fancy materalize approprite. The Genii told Philip he could be a tree for a single day. At the halt of the day he would reform to a shrub again. Then the Genii vanished. When a solo tree came wandering by him, he saw the jungle plant and crowed.
Philip directed "What's askew?"
The tree said " Look at yourself, your so senile! Where did you appear from?"
Then Philip was affection-insolvent.
Then Philip told this tree "Oh, I'm just transitting through."
Philip then left. When he came to a creek he glanced cascading into the dilute. He saw how repugnant he was, bemoan. When the day was surplus he was chipper. He was Philip the bush and never yearned to be a tree again.

I hope you enjoyed my creative writing. Have a great day. Country Rose

Wednesday, October 24, 2007 - School/Drama Club
School
Haven't wrote for a while just been busy with a bunch of different stuff. Well first things first. School is going great. For language arts I am doing a book study. My book study is a book called "Across the Five Aprils" The book is really good if you like the whole Civil war stuff. Even anything dealing with war. I am not that kind of person. The book is about a little 8 year old boy and how his older brothers go off to the war. His older sister who is 15 has a boyfriend who wants to marry her and her father won't let him marry her because he thinks that she is too young to get married to this man. Where I am at right now is that she just got a letter from him and her family is all supposed to read all the mail but, she won't let none of them read it because it's too personal. When her father said that there is not aloud to write any romance in the letters. So in this letter I am guessing is that their is some romance in the letter he wrote. The book is good so I would say you guys might like it. This is my last week, so I have to get the book done. How's school going for everyone else? I hope its going well.
Drama Club
Friday the 19th of this month, I got together with a few friends so we can get a drama club going. I love drama a lot. So I thought it might be a great idea to have a drama club. So Friday I had Marshmellow, Chrisy and another friend come and spend the night and get a drama club going. We have named our group " Drama Peeps". Thanks Chrisy!! Our motto is "Drama is #1" Marshmellow came up with that one. The age group is 11-18 and our first meeting is October 30. I am the President and Marshmellow is the Vice President. We are both excited to have this drama club. We just have one request for all of you......if you can will you please pray for our group so that we can have more people to come to the club.
I hope you all have a great week and you all are in my prayers. Country Rose

Monday, October 15, 2007 - Flea Market
Friday night we went to my grandma's camper to spend the night. Then Saturday we were going to be setting up for a flea market. When we got to grandma's we (me, littlebro12, Littlesis7 and all my cuz's from Nutty Easta) were going to watch a movie. Instead littlebro12 and bc8 went back to play the playstation (typical boys) and us girls all settled down and watched "Are We There Yet" (a very funny movie). So then after mom and grandma came back from Wal-Mart GC11 and I went out to the van and went to sleep. Then at 2 in the morning we went into the camper because we were cold.(it had to be at least 40 degrees or below) So then the next morning we got set up for the flea market. GC11 and I were selling hot apple cider. Then mom was going to sell snowmen that we made and my friend Crisy and her mom were going to sell Build a friends. Then grandma was going to sell her clings. So while gc11 and I were selling hot apple cider we had a lady come up and asked if she could have a cup. So then she was giving us a dollar so I gave her change, gc11 gave her hot apple cider. She started to walk away without giving us the money. (She took the change with her.) Then gc11 said "Mam, you forgot to give us the money" So she gave us the dollar. Then she asked "Umm do I get any change"...so I told her that I already gave her the change so she left. The rest of the day went fine. My great aunt (my godmother)and her daughter came with her new baby.(She is so cute)
Selling the apple cider we made $30 dollars. So we split it in half. Mom didn't sell any snowmen but one which I made. I had a really great weekend spending time with friends and family. How did everyone elses weekend go? I hope it went well. God Bless

Tuesday, October 9, 2007 - Saturday
Saturday was my 14th Birhtday. It went pretty well. When I woke up my cuz's from Nutty Estate and my mom and brother and sister all sang me "Happy Birthday". Then my brother, sister and cuz's gave me birhtday cards. When my dad came home they gave me my birthday gift. I got Camo pants (YES) and a new CD. They also gave me a card. 11:00 came and we all piled into the van, but not dad and me we got on to the motorcycle and we went to a Colonial thing. That was really cool. I was carrying a baby around but once and a while mom would hold gc1. So we made crafts they were really fun I was helping gc1 and 3 with theirs. So after that we went home. It took us an hour because we decide to take the long way. Which it was very hard on the butt because the seat isn't padded very good. When we got home mom and dad made my birhtday dinner. We had Roast, Mash potatoes and greenbeans with cheese. Then for my birthday dessert I didn't want a cake so I picked Apple Crip. That was very good. Then after everyone had showers I got to pick out a movie. We watched "A Knights Tale" Well I guess thats about it for my birhtday.
Then Sunday I didn't really want anyone to say Happy Birthday or know about my birthday. Littlebro12 went around saying to them to tell me Happy Birthday. So I had people saying happy birthday. I even had a guy sing me happy birthday.
Oh I have another prayer request. Will you please keep Marshmellow in prayer. She is going throuhg a tough time right now.

Thursday, October 4, 2007 - A Funny Story/Snowman/School
Yesterday I was doing dishes so I loaded the dishwasher up and put in dish detergent not dishwasher detergent. So mom asked how much detergant I put in the dishwasher. I told her the ragular amount. She told me to come look at the dishwasher. So I went and there was bubbles coming out of the dishwasher. Heres a picture of what it looks like.

So I opened it up and mom said that I put dish detergant. So now they keep reminding me of what I did.

Snowman- We just got done painting snowmen. Next Saturday we are going to sell them at a flea market. We colored the the snowmen. Nexted we are going to crackel and then we will put white. Make a face and then we will make a hat and scarf to put on it.
School- For school we are learning about the mammal classification. We had to pick 5 different Orders. Read about them and find animals that belong in that order. I got some tuff but easy ones. Language arts I am learing about the Star Spangle Banner. I just started so I really don't know a lot about it yet. How's school going for everyone else? I hope it is going well. ~Country Rose~

Wednesday, October 3, 2007 - Bowling
Today for the homeschool group we had bowling. We had a lot of fun too!! We played two games each. My first game I got a 63 and the second game I got a 53. The second game I didn't get to finish though. So it was a lot of fun......we had 13 kids there I think. It was a really good turn out. My one friend (CJ) and I were cheering people on. Each time I went up I would get a gutter. I'm not the best bowler in the world. Plus we didn't put the bumpers up either. Of course I wanted the side with the bumpers, but another girl wanted bumpers too. So I went on the side with CJ and we had a great time cheering people on. This weekend we are going to a state park for a Colonial Day. For school it will be exciting to make candles and soap and a lot of other stuff probably. This weekend on Friday my Nutty Cuz's from Nutty Estate are coming up so we can watch them. My aunt and uncle are going on a crusie. I wish I could go.
Well I hope all had a great day. Do any of you homeschooler's get together with other homeschooler's? Well if not its a lot of fun. ~Country Rose~

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 - A Family in Need of Prayer
Yesterday we got a phone call at 10:00 and mom was in need to babysit a family from our homeschool group. She told mom that her grandma was being ambulanced to the hospital. So mom went and picked up their 4 kids. Littlesis7 was all happy because her friend was coming so was Littlebro12. We had their kids for the whole day. The strange thing is last Friday we always ask for prayer requests and Littlesis7 said she wanted to pray for her. Then just a little while ago we heard that my mom's friends grandma just died. Mom said that she was taking it ok. So its so sad to hear because the lady was really nice and all. The lady died this morning she was 94 years old. So please keep that family in prayer.
I'm also in need of prayer on a big decision my parents and I are going through. If you can just keep us in prayer on this unspoken prayer.
Have a great day. ~Country Rose~

Monday, October 1, 2007 - The Weekend
This weekend was great. I absolutely had a great weekend. Well Friday I cleaned the house up (more like straightened up) So that wasn't so much fun. So Saturday is when the fun began. Saturday I was up at 6:30 waiting for a phone call from Marshmellow. (you might be thinking why she was calling that early, huh, well I'll keep telling my story) When she called she said she can come to my house after the women's breakfast. So I hung up with her and went and got a shower. So quarter after 8 mom and I were off to the women's breakfast. So after the breakfast we went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. So I got home and called my other friend (Bj15). So I called him and asked if he wanted to come to the concert tonight and we would pick him up. So Marshmellow and I talked for a while then we watched "The Ultimate Gift" (it is really good) So then we ate and we got ready to leave. We went to pick Bj15 up and then we were off to the concert. The concert was really good they had flag twirling and then there was a band of course called "The Stirring". So Bj15, Marshmellow and I stood around and talked the whole time pretty much. They were giving gifts away so I went to sign up and they really didn't want to. So I went to sign up and then we stood around and talked some more. They started calling the drawings. Littlesis7 won a webkinz, our sunday school teacher(for the teens) won a gift certificate for a hoagies place. Then I was pretending they were going to call me and then right after I said my name they said it. I was in shock! So I went up and got my two gift cards to get Wendy's frosties. So I had a lot of fun hanging out with my friends.
Then Saturday night after the concet Marshmellow and I went to a woman's house and spent the night. We woke up and went to help her with a bridal shower. There were all different kinds of things there. Marshmellow's aunt waxed our hands they were really soft after they were done. Our favorite part was eating all the food we wanted.
So that was my weekend. I hope all you had a great weekend like I did. Have a great day. Country Rose

Friday, September 28, 2007 - A little game I play
Littlebro12 doesn't ever remember to brush his teeth and sooo I made up a game. My parents give us a blessing every night before we go to bed. After they do their blessing I run off to the bathroom. Littlebro12 wasn't getting why I was doing this. Just recently he started catching on. So when he got a hold of it he was trying to beat me to the bathroom, but I always was there before him. Just a few nights ago he asked me if I brushed my teeth and I had a pillow over my mouth and I was shaking my head "no". (but I didn't brush them) So after our blessings I ran to the bathroom. I was laughing soo hard I could cry. He was really mad. Mom and Dad were laughing too. They thought that I did brush my teeth too. So it was sooo funny. Then Wednesday night I was walking up the steps to go brush my teeth. Now the lights were off and the door was open. So I thought that no one was in there. Well I went to go get my tooth brush and Littlebro12 was right behind the door and scared me soo bad...now he won't let me forget it. He wants to tell all my friends and everyone he sees. Now Littlebro12 never liked to brush his teeth but the funny thing now I can get him to brush his teeth any time. Since I made this game up. Before long I will have to start playing this game with Littlesis7.
Anyone who wants to use this game feel free.......it works really well after the kids know what you are doing. I hope it works for everyone who tries. Country Rose

Wednesday, September 26, 2007 - Styles
Just recently I have been finding a style I like. Hair, clothes ect. So here is a little story.......my mom and I were in Wal-Mart and we were looking at clothes. She found these pair of camo capri's. She said that they were cute. I wasn't so crazy about them. That was about 4 or 5 months ago. So time went by and I and now it is soooo funny because everything I want has to be camo. Just Monday I got a pair of camo shoes, I absolutely love them. So if it were now and Mom asked if I wanted camo capri's I would say yes in a heart beat.
It's just like cars, when I am 16 I want a mustang. I know that they are a lot of money. So I was on a thing that all I want is a Mustang until a month ago, now I want a Neon or a Mustang. It really doesn't matter what car I get. It's just that those are like my dream cars. They have to be black with purple flames. (there is a lot of other things that I want on it but we don't have to go into to much detail) Each time I see a mustang or a neon, I yell what ever the car is. My parents always jump. Now dad is always saying there's a mustang or there's a neon. My hair I really haven't found a stlye for that yet, but I think it is a ponytail. So what's your style? Do you have one?
Have a great day. Country Rose

Monday, September 24, 2007 - Sunday
Yesterday was a great day. Marshmellow spent the night on Saturday so we could practice for our skit and song we did for Missionettes. We were first to do our song that Sunday, we had a lot of fun. I also did a talk on missonattes history, I will never ever speak in front of people again like that. I can sing and do a skit, but with that I have music and there is different people up there with me. Then Marshmellow and I did our skit. We had a lot of comments on the skit. After church was over we handed cookies out to the congregation.
After church we went and picked Littlebro12 up from his camp out with the Rangers. We then went down to dad's buddy's place so Littlebro12 could shoot the 22 (a gun). After awhile of sitting there mom asked if I wanted to shoot. It was ummmm I don't know if I am going to like it. Then mom said I will never know until I try. So I did it, and actullaly I really liked it. There was a pop can on a post pretty far up their and I got it on the third shot. I was soo proud.
Then we were on our way to the van and I asked mom if I could drive the van down the driveway (he has a really long driveway). Mom said to ask my dad so I asked and he told me to ask mom. So mom went to him in the van and dad said so your not going to let her drive? Mom said I think I am nutts for letting her do this. So I was aloud to drive. I did a pretty good job. That was my second time to drive the van. The first time I drove it I kept slamming on the brakes, this time I didn't do it once. I was soo happy.
How did everyone else's Sunday go? Hope it went well.

Friday, September 21, 2007 - Homeschol Group/ Youth Group
Today we had homeschool group. It was a blast. Today was are first day for this year. For a first day we had 34 people all together. 25 of them were kids, and out of that 14 were in 6-12th grades. So we had so much fun. We played a game so that we could remember each others names. It was so funny to see how many people could remember names and who couldn't. I could remember all the names. I have always been able to do that kind of stuff. Then we played Blindman's Buff to see if we could guess the persons name. You were blind folded so you had to make a good guess. Then we made a craft. We took a jar and made a scarecrow. After that was all done all the teens and pre-teens played dodgeball. So I had a great time with a whole bunch of kids my age.
Also we had youth group. I took 3 other teen girls with me that were all homeschooled. So when we got there we had a hay ride. After the hay ride Marshmellow and I did a skit and a song that we are doing Sunday. Then we had a devotional which was a really good one. After that we (all the girls) danced. We had a great time. I made a dessert for one of the leaders because it was her birthday last Sunday. So we sorda kinda celebrated her brithday. A few friends and I were pretending that we were the Wizard of Oz. I hope you guys had a great Friday.

Wednesday, September 19, 2007 - Whats been happening
Just recently my dad has been building a garage so he has been busy with that alot. He's been working on it since January. (I think:-)) Dad has been having a guy come over and help him. So he has been here a lot helping dad. So they have been cutting trees down for the garage and all. My mom just loves nature so when they are cutting down the trees she is always "oh", "ah", and a lot more of that. Today his friend came to help level out the dirt pile they have. So then mom came out just when they were going to cut down a tree. She goes "oh they must be cutting down that tree over there." but then she saw that they wern't cutting down that tree that they were cutting down a tree next to the garage. So mom goes "Oh no I can't watch anymore." So I told that we have tons of trees. (because we live in the woods) She said ya I know.
Its so funny to see all the reactions she can get, when they cut down a tree. Although she told me when we lived at the other house that they had 10 trees at least, and dad cut down everyone of them besides 2. So there was this one tree that was my favorite it was a climbing tree. So I named it Little Sal (I am always naming weird things) and he had to cut it down because half of it fell down, and we found out that it was rotten. So that day I was pretty sad. So when we left the house there was only 1 tree left. Now that we live in the woods mom is happy that she is surrounded by trees. Except when they are cutting them down :-)
Have a wonderful day.

Monday, September 17, 2007 - What do you want to be when you grow up........?
I have been thinking about what I want to be when I grow up. Littlebro12 has been telling us what he wants to be. Littlesis7 has just telling us what she wants to be. I would like to go to college for music and drama. I want to do this because I love to act and sing. This Sunday Marshmallow and I are going to sing a duet together. We are singing "Let Go" sung by Barlow Girls. Then we will be doing a human video. We are in a girls ministry and Sunday is the girls ministry. So we volunteer to do this for the ministry. Back to my topic....so that is what I want to go to school for music and drama.
Littlebro12 wants to go into the Air Force and then have the air force pay him to go to college for law and order. After he retires from the air force he wants to become a police officer and drive the holicopters around on the scene. So I think he has his mind pretty made up. Don't you?
Littlesis7 wants to work at McDonalds. She keeps telling us she has to go to college to work at McDonalds. LOL She also says she wants to go to college to become a vetrinarian. Today when she was brushing my hair she said she wanted to be a hair dresser.
So what do you want to be? Its always fun to try and picture yourself doing different things. So have fun thinking up a storm.

Thursday, September 13, 2007 - Thank You
Thank you all who have been praying for my godfather. He's doing better. We found out that he woke up one morning and couldn't walk. He said the night before he heard something pop in his back, and when he woke up he couldn't walk. They took to the local hospital they gave him shots. So they told him he needs to go to another hospital. So they took him by ambulance to the hositpal. They found that he needed surgery. (this is his 3rd or 4th surgery he's only 35) So he is doing better at home and moving around slowly. Thanks again to all who were praying for him.

Monday, September 10, 2007 - I'm Home again
I'm home finally. We went to my grandparents place, they live in an RV. We went down to help them with a flea market. They sell cling decor, it looks like etched glass. It's really cool. We were there Wednesday through Saturday. Friday night like 11:30 my aunt and uncle from Nutty Estate came. So Saturday my grandparents gave us all money to go to a cave they had there. It was an hour long. We all had a great time. The tour was in a boat. They said they haven't used the lifejackets in over 100 years. They didn't want to use them now.
When were going through, the tour guide was pointing all the different stalagmites and stalagtites that they made up names for. So you had to use your imagination to see the figures. My little cuz was like the tour guides favorite. He was always picking on her. It was funny she's only one so she couldn't talk. So she made noises and he was talking to her like he understood. Now the most funniest thing was when he said that the cave was 100 billon years old. My mom and us and my uncle and his family all started laughing. Now the tour guide didn't know why we were laughing. We all know that is what the scientists say, but from a Creation view the world has only been around for 6,000 years.
So, that was my weekend. How was every one else's?
Well have a great day.

Wednesday, September 5, 2007 - Spaghetti Sauce
Today we made homemade spaghetti sauce. It's alot of work doing it. Having to cut peppers, onions, tomatoes, garlic and much more. Having to keep an eye on the pots of sauce. Its just alot of work. Its 78' outside and 90' inside is a big difference. We are all very warm. I think the hardest part is trying to find out what they still need. My favorite part though is trying them and trying to give what you think it still needs. Well I hope you all have a great day. I will because we are going down to stay with my grandparents until Saturday. They are doing flea marketing and we need to go help them because, this flea market is a big one.
