I made potatoes today with lunch. They were good and spicy.
Here's how I made them:
First I cut up 6 small sized red potatoes. I put a pinch of rosemary, a pinch of ground red pepper, salt and pepper. I covered them with water. Next I boiled them. Last I smooshed them up.
You can serve these hot or cold.

Today is Father's Day. This morning we went to church and I helped in the Sunday School class with my mom and dad. I made my dad a card and it said "When I think about all the father's in the world, I feel lucky I have you."
After church we went to Walmart and then came home and ate. Then we all had quiet time. Then me and my brothers watched Higglytown Heroes.
My dad had to go to work. He usually doesn't have to go to work on Sunday, but we went to work so he could stay home on Thursday, since he had a special project tonight. |

iTunes is a neat program. My parents and I went in 1/2 and we bought an iPod Shuffle for me. My brother has one, too. Mine is silver. My brother's is green. My mom has an iPod and my dad has an iPod Nano. We are an iPod family. I like to listen to Paws and Tales, Christian music, and Adventures in Odyssey.
I have a cable that I can plug into my radio, so that I can listen to it at nighttime. The Paws & Tales makes me fall asleep.
I really like my iPod Shuffle and I'm very thankful for it.  |

This last weekend, we went to Monahans Sandhills. We met some friends that my mom knew from the Above Rubies retreat. We slid on the disks down the hills and we made a train out of the disks. This picture is of us and our friends: Joy, Joshua, my brother, and me.
We had an awesome time. It was so cool. I've never seen so much sand in my life. We saw wild bulls. My mom saw a Kangaroo Rat. There were some albino insects - because they were white and blended in with the sand. We got sunburned even though there was not much sun.

Apr. 10, 2007 I love horses
Yesterday, my brother (historygeek) and I thought about a fort to built in our back and front yards. Actually, the fort that is in the front yard is our "base". The one in the backyard is our fort and my dad said that we could pretend that the fort could be other forts and we could pretend we are traveling.
We used some old chairs and my table that is torn up. We found a horse shoe and stakes. My brother found a chain in our barn. And he put it on a couple of stakes, so it would be like a gate.
Today we are going to work on it some more.

Jan. 10, 2007 Trip to San Antonio
My family and I will go on a trip sometime in May to San Antonio, Texas. We will go to Sea World and I haven't been there in a long time, so I am very happy.
Instead of a birthday party for me, since my birthday is in May, we will go as a family and do a birthday there. It will be really fun to me, because we are on a trip as a family, close to my birthday.
For a few days we will stay in timeshare, because my grandparents gave my parents some points for the timeshare. The rest of the week we will be camping in our camper.
And my cousins live in San Antonio, and we are going to visit them for a little while. Sometimes we stay at my cousin's house while we are there and we do a lot of things while we are there. But we aren't staying there this time. |

Oct. 19, 2006 Our Vacation
Me and my family went on a vacation to Caprock Canyons for 2 nights and 3 days. Then after that we went to Palo Duro Canyons for 7 nights. And as my mom said "it was breathtaking." It was so beautiful. Then while we were camping at Palo Duro Canyons we visited Route 66. It was very cool. We even saw a mini-museum and we went to the Panhandle Plains museum.
My brother took a shower and after he was done, he dropped his underwear. Some people who were in there after he was, took his underwear and put them on the handicap parking sign in the parking lot of the bathroom. It was so funny, you could have died! Then after that, me and my family were going on a hike and on our way back my brother fell in a cactus and my dad radioed my mom and me and he said "watch out there is a streaker on the lose. Actually, he has his underwear, his fanny pack, and his tennis shoes on." We were laughing hard.

Sep. 29, 2006 Going on vacation Sep. 29, 2006 Our Camping Trip
The other day, I went on a camping trip with my parents, my brother - history geek, princess C, and baseball freak, along with their parents. We went to Fort Richardson State Park. It was really fun. We played a lot. We went on a tour in old places from back then. One night we were roasting marshmallows and these 3 people came over. They said they were going on a walk from their campsite and saw a 5 ft. rattlesnake. They told us to be careful. The next night, me and my mom were going around because we were waiting for our friends in the shower. And we saw the rattlesnake. My mom tried to run over it. When she ran over it a lot, it wasn't dead, so she ran to go get my dad. And my dad finished killing it. We went geocaching. It was really fun. It was the first time our friends had been geocaching. We went by foot, because it was not a bike trail.

Sep. 12, 2006 my loose tooth
I have a loose tooth{It"s gone}. I was eating a apple before I new it,
my tooth was gone. I ran into the house, and told my mom "You were
right, you were right, it would come out with an apple!" At first my
tooth was bleeding, I rinsed out my mouth. In the morning, after that
day, I woke up at about 5 o'clock in the morning. My dad was standing
right next to the couch, after coming home from work. He had put $1 in
my tooth pillow. And when I woke up, it was about 10 o'clock, and I
told my mom that dad gave me a dollar. I'm saving my dollar.

Sep. 5, 2006 I'm learning how to type
I am learning how to type.  My mom bought us this CD called Typing Instructor. On my last lesson, that i did just a second ago, I had 93% accuracy and 10 wpm. I'm only 7, and my mom didn't know how to type until she was in high school.
My mom said that I'm doing really good. It is fun. On the last lesson, my music was Slow Spanish! I can choose the music and you can have it in the background, while you are typing. Sometimes you really might want to do slow, slow music, because if you do medium or fast it will make you want to go really fast, and you won't be able to concentrate and you will be really wrong.
I'll blog again in 2 days.

I love horses a lot. I love them because they are pretty and because you don't have to steer (like a car) and you don't have to push any pedals.
My mom's friend's daughter teaches horse riding classes. My mom is talking to her friend about signing me up for classes. I will go once a week. They cost $10 per lesson. My mom and dad told me that I have to pay for some of it with my allowance.
She will teach me how to brush them, saddle them, take care of them, and ride them. I really really want to know how to take care of a horse, so that when my mom and dad get enough money, to buy a pony, I will know how to take care of it.

ps. I really hope this will be lots of fun and I know it will.

Aug. 29, 2006 I started BJ Homesat (School)
Yesterday, I started school using BJ Homesat. For people that don't know what BJ Homesat is, it is a type of school that is made for Christians. I have a really fun time. My teachers are really fun. And I have lots of different teachers. They help my mom teach me more stuff about math, english, spelling, handwriting, and reading.
My mom didn't ask me to do reading class, but I wanted to do it anyway because it looked fun.
On Homesat, I watch DVDs that my mom recorded off the channel. Me and my brother have our own seperate TVs and earphones, so that we do not distract each other. It is much more helpful to concentrate because we have the earphones.
I've also been reading a lot. It is so much fun. It is entertaining and it is better than sitting in front of the TV or the computer!

Aug. 14, 2006 I cleaned my room
I cleaned my room yesterday all by myself. It was really messy before. My mom told me about this flip chart called Clean n' Flip. We went on the internet and my mom told me I could buy it and she would help me pay for it. I only had to pay $5, and my mom paid the rest. 
I like the Clean n' flip because it is really cool and it helps me clean my room easier. Usually it makes me really nervous to clean my room and it's not that easy to clean, and I cry a lot  . This was different you organized everything and broke it up into steps.

Jul. 31, 2006 I've been reading
My brother had these books called Magic Tree House. Yesterday, I started reading one. It was #1 titled Dinosaurs Before Dark. This morning I finished it. Yes, the whole thing!
Then, I started reading #2, titled The Knight at Dawn. I finished it this morning, also.
My mom and my brother wanted me to read these books, but I didn't want to at first. Now I'm glad I picked them out. The rest of them are packed, but my dad said he would start looking for them in the barn.

Saturday, I got this book that had all different kinds of things. One of the pages had the ABCs in Sign Language. My mom and dad and my three brothers watched me while I did the ABCs in Sign Language.
I"ve been interested in sign language recently. It was really cool. My mom's friend, Mrs. T, knows sign language and she helped me out with some questions I had.

Jul. 13, 2006 My Mom's Bread
I like my Mommy's bread. It's very good. I like it when it is fresh and I like it with honey. It smells really good when it comes right out of the oven. I like to help my Mommy bake it.
Tomorrow, me, my mom, and my brother are going to start Home Economics class here at our house. First we are going to learn about Nutrition foods and then we are going to learn how to peel properly.
I like helping my mom making foods. I like learning when she teaches me. I want to be just like her when I grow up - a good, loving, Mommy. I will take as many babies as God wants me to take and I will love them a lot.

I like crafts. Today, my mom gave me a card kit. A card kit is a book that has cards you can make with directions. She also gave me some crafts I can do. They were from when she did Close To My Heart and had leftover make 'n takes. She saved them for me.
I made 2 cards - one was for my Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt, because they are on a long trip in California, and I wanted to give them a special card so that they would know that I really did miss them on their trip. The other one is for a surprise.
