Cowgirl Cutie

• Nov. 26, 2007

I haven't been writing here lately, because I have been busy.  Today in Walmart I saw a big fat man who had a white beard and looked like Santa Claus!  He looked at me and my baby sister and said "ho ho ho"!  I think he was Santa Claus, seeing if we were good or bad.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I rode my new bike, which is a bigger one than I am used to and that I can have.  I can finally ride it, but it still has training wheels I guess.

The other day we had to put our cat, Cowboy, to sleep.  I really miss him, and could hardly look at his picture here on my blog.  I'm not sure we will be able to, but I want to get a new kitty.  My daddy says I can't get a new kitty, until I learn to take good care of my dog.  Sometimes I forget and some days I am tired or don't want to take care of her.  I am happy I put a picture of Cowboy here on my blog, so I can come and see it when I miss him.

Today we went to the pumpkin patch...it was so fun.  We saw lots of animals, did a corn maze, learned about making butter, how to milk a cow, about growing corn, cotton and pumpkins...we didn't get to go on the hay ride (it was so hot, mommy and baby sis had enough), but we might go back with daddy again.
look at the pictures below of our fun...

The other day I turned six.  It was the best birthday I ever had!  I got this horse that I have been always wanting.  And, I got a doll to go with it.  The horse's name is Hoof and her doll is Sara.  We had a cowgirl cookout party with hot dogs and an ice cream cake.  We had a lot of fun and I'll remember it for a long time...

On Sunday our butterflies came out of their cocoons!  It was so exciting to watch.  Then today we watched them go, when we opened up the net.   I got to hold one and let it go.  They stayed around for a few minutes and then were gone, free.

We also let our ladybugs go today.  I held them and played with them for a long time before they flew away.  I could still find one more later in the day until my baby sister came out and knocked him off my finger.

The story of the girl who never got a horse...

I like making stories like the other blogs I have read other girls doing, so I am going to make a story:

Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved horses.  She wanted a horse, but her father wouldn't let her because it was too much money, and her mother wouldn't let her either.  There was a hundred bucks saved in a little box in the garage.   The girl didn't understand.  Maybe, she thought, that they didn't know the money was there.  She was trying to figure out in her head why they had to do that and why didn't they understand.  She asked another day when she turned nine, on her birthday.  She whispered to her mom, I thought you were going to get me a horse.  Her mom nodded and she kept talking to the other girls.  The girl wondered why,  but she thought that they didn't understand like the other part of the story.  And, she found a horse out in the woods with her old horse!  She needed a younger horse.  The poor horse laying in the grass, she wondered what was wrong.  She got her staying stick out from the pocket of her old horse, and put it the grass tied to the old horse, so it would stay.  She put the little horse inside the pocket.  She was big as the whole bag.  She figured out the horse was a foal.  The foal was a pretty golden color and would soon grow up to be a beautiful stallion.  She brought it home and her mom and dad said, you can have her!

The end

my pets

here are my pets:

this is cowboy, we call him poopie

here is my boxer, Dixie.  She is bad, but I still love her.  She runs all over the neighborhood when she gets off her leash.  She has a friend named Tucker, a dog next door.  She runs on the other side of the fence next door with Tucker.  Sometimes she bites me and ruins my clothes!  She hurts me bad sometimes too.

I also have caterpillars that are in a chrysalis right now, and I am waiting for them to turn into butterflies.
These pictures show them as caterpillars, when they first arrived and now how they look in the chrysalis.

AND...
we are watching 9 ladybugs become adults.  Just today they came out of their shell and were full grown ladybugs.  Here are two pictures to show what they looked like before they went into the larva state, and then today, how they look, even before they turned completely red.  We fed them raisins and gave them water.  It is so cool!!

and now...

you can see the raisin in the middle, and the old shell above the one on the gray rock.

here are some pictures I drew last night.  I had fun drawing them, I drew them in the dark.  I thought it was amazing how I could do it!

this is a man screeching for help.  It's kind of funny I think...

this one is of a man standing with his arms out screeching that he is strong, but he really isn't!

My name is Victoria and I wanted this blog for a place to keep my secrets.  I love horses, that's why they are on my blog.  It's hard to get the blog on there, but it still is fun.  I had fun decorating it with my Mommy.  That's all for today...
