Friday Funnies

Posted in Friday Funnies
I didn't keep track of the funnies this week, but this one just happened tonight so it's fresh on the brain.

My two older boys are spending the night with their grandparents, so I just had the girls and Josiah. They were at the table, waiting for dinner to be served and were chatting about possible names for our new baby.

Josiah's suggestions for a boy: Frosty the Snowman or Baby Jesus.

Millie's suggestions: Uncle Jim (Kim, you've got to tell your dad about that one) for a boy or Clara for a girl.

Well, Clara's nice anyway. Frosty the Snowman has a certain ring to it....

p.s. I am SO far behind on getting back to you on your comments- I'm so sorry! I usually do that on the evenings that Kenton works, but I've been SO tired these past three months, that I usually wind up going to bed early instead. I will get back to you eventually though!

Oh, those are hysterical!!! LOL For every oen of our babies, my dh is the one that comes up w/ crazy names-mudflap and fire hydrant are his personal favorites. He can't understand why I don't go for it-not even for middle names. LOL ! Holly

Dec. 22, 2007 - Children naming children

Posted by MrsTeamS
We just found out that our little one is a boy. So far, the children have suggested Race Car, Moses, and Abraham. I believe all three will be vetoed by Daddy and Mommy! :) Not that there is anything wrong with Moses or Abraham. They just seem a little hard core! :) And Race Car??? Well... let's just say that we don't like NASCAR that much! :)

Can't wait to hear what else you guys are considering! I hope you are feeling better and getting more energy. Hang in there!

Have a blessed Christmas!

Dec. 22, 2007 - Funny Names

When I was pregnant with my youngest, my older daughter was suggesting names. She said "can we name her Pocahantas?" Uh, "no" I said. So she says, "okay, how about Mulan?" Needless to say, none of them made the list and Kristianna it was!

Funny what kids will come up with! (Altho it was my HUSBAND who suggested naming our 3rd one "Shazaam".) Your kids' suggestions are hilarious. Personally, I think you should steal my youngest's name; "Jubilee" would go so nicely with your other kids' names. Of course you will be having a girl; isn't that how the pattern goes? And if by chance you end up with a boy, well of course you should name him Uncle Frosty Jesus!

I'm with the poster above...you could use a combination of the ones the kids suggested. While I do like Uncle Frosty Jesus, I was leaning more toward Frosty Clara or possibly Clara Jesus myself. :)

I love the kids' suggestions for baby names. They're always so cute.
I hope you start to get your energy back now that you're beginning the second tri.
Merry Christmas, Alyssa!

I'm thinking you should name him or her Blitzen. It was always the most fun name to sing in "Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer".
Merry Christmas!
