Hi there, I was introduced to your blog by a friend and have since, just loved you photography. I was wondering what camera & lens you use for these photos of your kiddos ?.. The just shine (and pop) :)
Thanks for al of your beautiful work and all of the great helps that you freely share with us aspiring photogs. I am one of them and though I have a ways to go, I'm thinking I have an eye :)
You're family is just beautiful :) and your blog, as a whole, is a joy.
Thanks again for sharing,
Blessings

:) Josiah's wearing his shirt..cute.
These are great. We're anxiously awaiting our apples here as well, although many are almost ripe. I cannot wait to show you(via pics)the cute costumes I got for the two youngest. I cannot wait to see what you do for 'harvest' costumes as well. :)
lotsa love-
Lis

Very cute, as usual. I posted a WW today, too. (Er, I guess that would be yesterday? Or not, since you are 3 hours behind me... at any rate, it's thurs here already.) ANYWAY, my WW includes what is probably my very mostest favoritest pic I've ever taken. Although if I were *you*, I don't think I'd be able to pick even a Favorite of the Month, let alone an All-Time Favorite!

It's neat that God has given you such talent as one more way to enjoy your kids.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I check your blog daily, but I'm super bad about commenting. :) I LOVE all your photos and I wish I was better at using my camera, like you are. The way you can get the focus just right on the exact spot is awesome. I seriously don't have a clue how to use my D80. I was going to take a class this winter, but with the baby coming in just a few weeks we decided I'd better not. Plus, homeschooling the 4 different grades is keeping me plenty busy!!!

Love the pictures of the baby, too. She is SO CUTE!! I can hardly wait to meet our new babe. :)

Love,
Leah

What a cute picture of such a cute boy!

What kind of school schedule do you do - I mean, you start on Sept 15 I think you said, and I remember not that long ago, well, at least it seems that way, you were starting school. I am thinking you do a certain amount of weeks school, then take a break?

Thanks ladies!!

Suzanna- I have the Canon 40D & the three lenses I use most often are my 50mm, 85mm & 24-70mm (all Canon). The 50mm is the most economical & is a great little lens. Thanks for your sweet words!

Lis- Can't wait to see those costumes! I bet it's something super creative, knowing you! I haven't even THOUGHT about costumes yet!

Bethany- loved your pic! :)

Shani- he's a TOTAL ham. hee-hee!

Leah- you take beautiful photos- you really have the eye for some great compositions! And I know that busyness. LOL!

Antoinette- I'd prefer to school year round, but the way the weather is here- just 2-3 months of nice weather- we have to build our school schedule around that. So we're a bit traditional. We did start mid-September this year, but only because we finished 3 weeks of this school year in June, before Julianna arrived. That just gave us a bit more time off with the baby. :)

Love, Alyssa
