He is one cute little boy. I love sleeping pictures. How did you get him to go to sleep on the black background, anyhow? My kids will NEVER go to sleep until they are in their bed and have cried for a few minutes (well the younger ones anyhow).
So that's why so many of your pictures remind me of the Oregon coast. :) I love being near the coast, and Oregon/Washington are some of my favorite states to drive through. We've seen a lot of the USA and really love that area.
I wish I could take credit for making Evy's dress, but the only thing I've ever sewed were a pair of crazy bermuda shorts back in highschool!! I bought that dress on e-bay back when Celina was about 4 years old. I think it might be from a Daisy Kingdom pattern. It has kept so well over the years and I just love it. I wonder if the stain will come out... I put stain treatment on it but didn't wash it yet. :) That was just yesterday, after all. Guess I should go do that, in case this next baby is a girl!! :)
Always love your photos, and I check in at least once a day just to see if you have new pictures posted. May I suggest you post a few more of that new baby girl?? I've got baby on the brain!!
It never has bothered me to have a male OB nurse, because my first two children were delivered by a male doctor and this same male nurse was there, too. I didn't know any different! (Until I started using a midwife!) I can't complain, because he's really good at his job, and I know he married and a Dad.
Oliver has only lost his front 4 teeth, I believe. It has been a struggle because with each one, the "adult" tooth has come in first, then we've had to struggle to get the baby tooth out of the way. Some kids just lose teeth later. My oldest (Celina) has only lost 8 teeth! And she's soon to be 14! The dentist is threatening a mass removal, but so far there haven't been any problems because of it.
Our car? When we bought it on ebay we had a relative fly to NY and get it, drive it to MN where we picked it up before our big Mississippi trip last summer. We then drove it home to Alaska from the south. It's been such a great car! Our next vehicle will most likely be a 12 passenger (or 15) van, depending on which one we find a great deal on. I see them often on ebay for great prices. Lots of churches and organizations sell them off cheap. Now that we're to be a family of 7, we're outgrowing most cars! I don't mind, though. Plus, at any time we could be foster parents, which would mean needing even more vehicle space. God knows, though. He'll provide when the time is right. :)
Love,
Leah
Leah- well, regardless, that lil' dress was adorable! I hope you were able to get the stain out! I still wonder if Gabe's ever goign to lose a tooth. LOL! I've heard though that it's sometimes better the longer they keep their baby teeth?
