I can actually participate in a Show & Tell! Yay for me! Hee-hee! Although my contribution isn't anything fancy or exciting like the posts I've seen from a lot of you (Shani's beautiful crocheted afghans or Antoinette's beautiful horses...).
My Show & Tell? I made the girls' nightgowns- you will see them wearing them in the video below. This pattern was a size 5/6. Millie was preoccupied when I needed her to try hers on, so I had Gracie slip it over her head. I couldn't believe how well it fit Gracie! (she's 9!) So I decided not to bother making Gracie's in HER size and just let her have that one. I made another for Millie, but had to take in the sleeves and hem a bit. It's still HUGE on her. Oh well, here they are. And the girls have a special ballet performance for you. I don't think anyone has ever done a ballet to Shalom Aleicham in the history of this world. And I don't know who was more entertaining... the boys or the girls? You decide.
Argh! Video quality is poor. I think you can see them better here, another video I posted a few days ago. (aka Canadagirl
Who needs TV when you have entertainment like that?!?! Great job on the pj's. The girls are beautiful and the boys were hilarious. Little man was cute at the end sucking his thumb. Also I heard the baby cheering her big sisters on, too sweet.
Be blessed,

Hi Alyssa!
Unfortunately I use Elements. I've just not been able to justify the cost of Photoshop. Are you the one who told me you bought it off of Ebay? I need to check into that I think. Actions seems so much easier.
I did snap a few photos last night at football practice. Hope to post those today probably without ANY PP.
Love,
julie
Well, this was adorable, and so was the other video. I have to admit that in this most recent video, the boys' impromptu comic relief and "mouthing" the words and giving the girls a hard time was a hit to me. What fun, fun, fun you guys have!
My DD has 6 (newest born 08-08-08!), but it's doubtful her shy boys would do anything like this. I posted a YouTube of the 3 year old singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and that was pretty cute. But her boys....nah.... Nice to "meet" you and your family. Glad you joined us for S&T!
too funny! thanks for the sweet comments on my photos. i had fun taking them and knowing whether they were good or not i was not going to full around with the silly PP.
see you at the ballet!
julie
The girls cracked me up b/c it's so cute to watch little sis follow big sis so well. She's a total copy cat! Clearly she LOVES her & wants to be just like her. Too cute!
And the boys crack me up b/c well...they're just funny!! I loved the part where they were singing about 2 lines & then knocking each other over & taking over the lip-syncing. LOL! Silly boys!
What a happy, happy family. This is a great s&t because it captures more than what a photo can - the happiness and joy that emanates from the children.
I wish someday you would do a "retro-blog" for show and tell of that tea party you had for one of your daughter's birthday. That was sooo cool.
I read all of the posts since I've been here last to catch up with what's been going on with you. Sorry to hear about the neighbor's dog - that sounds totally frustrating.
Then I read about your very busy days trying to homeschool until 5:00 and working around a baby. I just wanted to encourage you to not worry about school on those days that the baby and little ones are more than a handfull. This is a mom of six speaking here, one that has two graduated and married. I miss those days and when I look back, the things I sweated about, were not worth sweating about. Just enjoy every day, and let what comes, come. If you just enjoy the kids all day, so be it. This is time you'll never be able to go back and rewind. This is it. Enjoy it.

I want to know what was Kenton saying at the 4:10 mark? Was Josiah looking at the cd player to see if the music was about to end?
So sweet. I remember dancing around the living room like that as a girl. Our girls still have to end family worship with a lively dancing tune! Lydia is so funny during this time. This reminds me that I need to get that on tape. Of course, here at my parents we don't have the same running room.
I am doing well. I will try to posts some pictures of recent events including our 10th anniversary celebrations! Night! Have a blessed Lord's Day!
Love, Eva
Suzy- I can't even imagine having SHY boys. LOL! DH & I always joke about our "shy homeschooled children." NOT!
Liz- you nailed Millie! Kenton & I had a good laugh watching her copy Gracie like that. :)
Antoinette- maybe I'll just have to do another tea! LOL!:) That was pretty fun- Gracie loved it. A ton of work, but lots of fun! Thank you for what you shared- so much wisdom in your words!
Eva- I think he was getting after Josiah, thinking he was going to get into the Jelly Bellies on the buffet. hee-hee!
Oh Alys, what fun! The pj's are adorable - well done! But the show - the show was amazing. Tell the girls very nice choreography - their toes were pointed well and they kept very nice rhythm with the music, even anticipating changes. And the boys - their singing debuts *must* be forthcoming. I tell ya, though, the scene-stealer for me was Josiah sucking his thumb, with his nose pressed longingly into the Jelly Belly's. ROFLOL!!
