What beautiful weather we've had! We decided to head out to our favorite beach yesterday, and it seemed we weren't the only ones who had that idea. There were a lot of people there! We hung out for a while and then Kenton decided he wanted to take us to this little beach he'd discovered recently. He had found a bunch of sea glass there and thought the children would like to try and find some. Boy, was he right! We're probably going to head back there again today. We were there until dark last night.
Gracie was my little poser yesterday, as you can tell.
There was a little park at the top of the trail to the beach. The children played a bit while we got ready to go.
I love it when at least ONE of my children is in the mood to have their pic taken. :)
Silly Millie.
Millie again.
Gracie showing me her little tiny piece of sea glass. We're going to start a collection and put them in a clear vase.
Josiah.
Millie climbing the big rocks.
My honeys.
I liked this graffiti. It was really dark when I took this though. I'll have to try it again. That's a paper mill in the background.
Hey Alyssa!
It's been forever since we've chatted! I know you're in Washington but never knew exactly where you were. My good friend has a job interview today in Washington because his mill here in Maine is closing! :-( What a small world it would be if the mill in the picture is the same mill he's interviewing at. His wife, one of my dearest friends, is the head of my homeschool group. She's not happy about moving across the country but she will if it means a job. Could you email me @ sarasusen@gmail.com and fill me in a bit on the area? If he does get the job and they DO end up moving out there, I'd like to hook you guys up! (Since she won't know ANYONE at all!) Oh and she's pregnant with her 3rd baby right now. The have 2 WONDERFUL boys ages 8 and 5. I'm PRAYING they don't have to move but the mills here in Maine are really hurting!
have a great day!

Love the picture with the grafiti. (sp??)
And the sea glass is so cool. It was cold here today. After beautiful spring weather yesterday. It's going to be a cold night too.

I check in here often and LOVE it when you have a new post, but I usually don't comment because I'm nursing Remi and only have one free hand. :) I so enjoy each and every one of your pictures and feel like I almost know your children from the beautiful photos you post of each of them. You're so good with your camera, and live in such a beautiful place to take pictures.
I love the sea glass! I wish we were closer to beaches. We'd have to drive about 1-2 hours to get to the nearest one. As usual, your pictures are beautiful!
You know, last week I thought Spring had actually arrived here on the NW coast. No, that was just a teaser. Today (Easter) was one of the worst days we've had this year, I think. It stormed all day. It's so sad to see my daffodils - they waited until 2 days ago to bloom and now they are face down in the mud. Sigh.
Anyway, your photos sure cheer a person up! Glad you had fun at the beach. More days like that ahead, right?
I so enjoy looking at your pictures. It looks like you live in a beautiful area. How nice it would be to go to the beach on a whim!!! I love the sea glass.
I'm sure I've said this a million times but I could look at your pictures all day long. It's so neat to see your kids' personalities shining through their pictures. The sea glass is gorgeous!
Just checking in really quickly while hubby and I ascertain our computer woes. Hopefully we'll be back up to running at full force soon. Miss you!
LOVE the photos - is it me, or is a) Gracie looking REALLY grown up lately, b) the baby growing FAR too quickly, c) Millie's hair looking suddenly much more red than before, d) and the boys much more camera-shy than usual? Love Josiah's pix - too cute! Hubby says he just looks like a handful, lol.
Hope all is well! Have a wonderful Spring!
love,
Shani
