Show and Tell Friday

Every Friday I am going to post a picture and participate in Show & Tell. This week I decided to show off something in the spirit of 4th of July week. For dessert, we made a fruit pizza. There are many variations of this. We decided to keep a red, white and blue theme.

Fruit Pizza

refrigerated sugar cookie dough

marshmallow cream

cream cheese

1 tbs. of juice (your choice, we actually used Pina Colada mix)

fruit toppings (we used cherries, blueberries, bananas and toasted coconut)

First, spread out the sugar cookie dough onto a pizza pan. Bake according to directions. Let it cool completely. Meanwhile, set cream cheese out to soften. Mix cream cheese and marshmallow cream together. Add about  1 Tbsp of fruit juice; this makes it more spreadable. Spread over the sugar cookie dough evenly. Next, slice up your fruit and arrange onto like a pizza. If you use bananas, be sure to toss lightly with lemon juice first so they don't turn brown right away. Enjoy!
