Oct. 5, 2006 - Mom's Things
In the few spare moments I get around here, with a housefull of kiddo's. I love to scrap and stamp. It's my outlet for so many things. Of course my favorite subjects are my children. Recently I happened into a new scrap group that has really challenged me, and that was good considering I am really behind and have abbout 2000 pics to scrap.
Here is a recent LO.
I'm trying to encourage my daughter's to scrap, but so far, I haven't gotten a lot of interest. LOL Maybe one day.

Love the LOs, Vanessa - adorable photos and page designs :) I want to encourage you about your daughters SBing with you... When I first began SBing back in 1997, DD Jen and youngest DS Matthew both got involved and created one large album each. Afterward though, they both lost interest (they were, like, 14 & 12, respectively, at the time). Years went by and they tolerated my constant photo-taking and patted me on the head when I would enourage them to join me again in SBing.
Finally, much to my delight and joy, Jen regained her interest in the craft earlier this year, as her wedding drew near. She first put together a small gift album for Ivory's 2 year old daughter, then a few weeks before the wedding, went shopping with me several times and built up quite the supply of scrapbook/stamp goodies and has been SBing ever snce :) -- as an unexpected bonus, we discovered that Ivory also enjoys SBing and is actually quite good at it!
So take heart, Vanessa - it might take a little while, but I'm sure their interest will be rekindled eventually :D!
