Random Thoughts
Posted in Cathys Contemplations
Have you ever had one or maybe two of those days when you can feel a cold or a virus trying to invade your system, it has begun to cause *some* nose stuffiness but not too much? Our cockatiel insists upon whistling to me until I give him a whisle back but my nose feels funny and my ears are very sensitive due to the invading virus. Someday I'll record his whistles to play for you and it will serve two purpses; first you can hear what he sounds like and second, he will hear himself and will have a good ole time at that! LOL
I have been tagged by Becky LaMereAcademy and I am to post 6 random things about myself and then tag 6 others...............okay, here goes..............
Random things:
#1. I love to read books and read articles online and I almost need to pull the reigns in at times, it gets hard on the eyes.
#2. I like to crochet and sew when I have the time.
#3. I find birds whistling when you are trying to compile a post or write anything is distracting and can become a hindrance to the writing process!!!!

#4. I'm not crazy about traveling but I try to find ways to use car time in productive ways when we are called out of town.
#5. We have a cat that I am allergic to: (found out AFTER we made her a part of our family)
#6. Despite my rants in this post, I do love animals and enjoy the immense variety that the Lord created!

Ahhhh you got tagged...lol I did that once, it was tough to think about what to put.
I need to have it quiet when I am posting too! Music can sometimes make me think about something though, but for the most part, "silencio par favor' " That was my version of spanish...lol

I am sorry you are not feeling up to snuff. I hate the first day of a cold. I get all anxious inside wondering just how sick I am going to get before getting better. Marissa and I have been helping with the day care for the women's Bible study at our church. It has been 10 weeks long (thankfully, Friday is the last day!) Anyway, I have been sick on and off since I started spending part of my week with toddlers.
My husband is allergic to cats too and we have two of them. Fortunately, like you, he likes them.

My dh can commiserate with you on the cat allergies. He is highly allergic and so we don't have one. My backyard, however, is their meetup of choice! LOL

Thank you Cathy for visiting my blog and praying for me.
I am new to this *blog thing* and find it amazing! First off, your blog looks fantastic....I need to snazz mine up a bit...but because of the blond in me it will take awhile. I need to get the shoulder healed so I can at least sit at the computer for hours on end!
I will put you on my favorites list and visit often!
FYI...I am allergic to cats as well....and we have three! For some reason the Lord felt these cats needed to live with us and He brought them to our home. These three do not bother me, however I know I am still allergic because I still react to everyone elses cats!
My son says: "It's a God thing"
Blessings,
Lorrie
