I love eating sandwiches for breakfast! I don't eat them much any other time of the day. But, I want some kind of potato chip with them, with the exception of Fritos (yuck) I will pretty much eat any other flavor. It's a texture thing! I like the softness of the bread combined with the crispness of the chip!

 This morning I have felt a little bummed. No real reason to feel this way but it's been there. I sat down to eat my chips and sandwich and the chips were stale! I still ate them anyway, not enjoying them one bit but too hung up that I had to have chips with my sandwich! That's when God pricked my heart!

 Am I feeling the way I do today because I have been choosing not to see things from His fresh eyes. This last week I have been seeing things from the burden point of view instead of the blessing point of view! My eyes and heart have been a little stale! I thank God, that unlike the chips (which I did throw them away finally) I have the opportunity to be made fresh again!

 Lamentations 3:22 -24 "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.' "

 What an awesome promise we have! His compassions are new every morning, how can mine not be also! So while I started this feeling a little stale, I ready to face whatever comes now feeling fresh! You see, I know God will be at my side!
