I have often thought what would be the one thing I would not give up in my homeschool journey. My first instinct would be to say my Bible, there would be no way I could give up my Bible. But the more I thought about it the more I have come to realize that I would never be able to give up the power of prayer. So if right now someone told me that I could only use one source to homeschool I would have to pick prayer!

  Because prayer gets me through the math lesson, the hard spelling words, the why am I having to learn this anyway? Prayer gives me strength to go another day and learn Latin or do one more science experiment. But most of all prayer helps me love my son always, listen to his words, stop and play when it's needed and keep my eyes focused on the King of Kings.

 Prayer is where I also rejoice when things are happening! Prayer is where I repent when frustration sets in! Prayer is the intercessor for all parts of my life! Prayer is my communication line to God Almighty!

 I thank God everyday that I don't have to give up all the other things, especially my Bible. Because through it I learn more about prayer! Please know that I am saying a prayer for you right now!

You have hit on your main source of homeschooling success....prayer. We've been homeschooling for twenty years, and the only reason we came this far is answered prayer!
