Yea! Today we started back to school! I thought I would blog during lunch break! We have had a great day so far! Math is done and that's always a positive if finished before lunch! We started about an hour later than I wanted due to my "cedar fever" allergies. I am trying out new medicines and not working well. Makes me too sleepy! But we are still pretty much on schedule. After lunch we will get spelling and grammar done then on to what electives we can get done today.

  We are taking a special lunch break and watching "Growing up grizzly" on the Animal Planet. B loves grizzly bears and is actually trying to draw one right now as his art project!   

 Guess what we got over the weekend! A piano!!!! It was free!!!! There was a lady who wanted to bless a homeschool family with her piano, we just had to come and get it. It is a 1941 Wurlitzer and in great shape. We will be getting it tuned next week! Now it's time to start lessons! I'm so excited about learning. What a blessing this is to our family.

What a rocky start we had today. I went to the doctors for a sinus infection and my hubby started school for me. What a mess! I came home to tears, books all messed up, pencils all over the table and BIG drawing from my husband on their worksheets. Hmmm. Sometimes hubbys are better left playing catch and golf... not as teachers. Ho hum. Tomorrow will be better - no doctors appointment then. lol
