This last week we did a fossil in clay for Science. You then pore plaster of paris on it to make a mold! So far, so good. There was a recommendation to stain your plaster with tea to make it look good. That sounded cool! It said to use an old toothbrush. I have those, no problem. (right?)

So, I sent B upstairs to get an old toothbrush (mistake #1). When he comes down I don't question the one he has (mistake # 2). We then proceed to use the toothbrush to finish our mold! Looks pretty neat, put it to the side to dry. Go on about our day.

I go upstairs to the bathroom and while washing my hands notice there are only 2 toothbrushes in the holder. You see, there should have been three, Daddy Bear's, Momma Bear's and Son Bear's. I also quickly notice that mine is still there! So is B's! Oh no!

I get called away and forget the toothbrushes! I forget to get a new one out for Daddy Bear (mistake #3). NIght comes, I forget to brush my teeth ( I know, yuck!) so don't notice to the next morning that Daddy Bear still has no toothbrush. Daddy Bear has already gone to work! Whose toothbrush did he use?

Needless to say we all have new toothbrushes now!

Oh, by the way when asking B why he took Daddy Bear's toothbrush instead of getting the old one out of the closet.. His answer was,"OH".
