Random Thoughts
Am I the only one that wishes TIME would s l o w down?? I feel like time is FLYING!! Did summer always go by this fast? Looking over the weeks ahead and trying to plan some fun summer things to do with my family I felt limited in time. I usually start school the second week of August and there just arent many weekends left! Then fall will be here and we will be knee deep in co-op, basketball practice and school work! And whats worse then summer flying by is my new baby girl getting so big already. Marlee (at her last doctor visit) weighed 8 lbs 14 oz. I know she is still a tiny newborn, but she is our last and I'm not looking forward to never having a newborn again. Then Alex, my 17 year old son who will be starting his senior year. His last year of school. Wasnt he just a newborn yesterday? Its crazy I tell you!

I know Crystal. I couldn't believe I was dropping Victoria off at Drivers Ed. this week. Time does go by too fast.

I'm Crystal, a sinner saved by grace striving to bring glory to my awesome God.
I am married to Rod, my high school sweetheart. TOGETHER we have a large, blended family that includes my step son Blaze 18, Alex 17, Elle 15, Pheonix 14, Megan 13, Madi 12, Jessa 10, Avarie 4, Ezra who was born at only 26 weeks is 2 and Marlee born May 27th 2009.
I LOVE having a large family. I love waking them up in the morning, cooking for them, I love having to use two or three shopping carts when I get groceries, I love the holidays, vacations, schooling them, even driving my mini bus! I love the busy times when everyone is talking at once, I love the quiet times when I watch them sleep. I love the millions of hugs and kisses that I get and give in a day. The laughter and giggles, squeals and chatter. The noise. The constant, ever changing noise. Even the tears, cries and yes, sometimes screams. I have the loudest house on the block and I revel in it.
I love breastfeeding, babywearing, being pregnant and loving my children.
I love my large family. And as it grows, I love it even more.
