The Lord's Room Homeschool:Abeka & MUS-Delta
Jun. 30, 2005 - It can only get better...

I thought I was going to drown in my daily to-do list but have found a great relief in my faith! Never once did I NOT trust that God was going to take care of us as I had to put my grandmother in a nursing home, purchase a car for my 16 yo, all the while taking my son back and forth to baseball camp AND THAT WAS JUST TUESDAY!

And I was worried about getting some homeschooling in, guess what my son learned this week? To wear sunscreen and a white t-shirt and drink lots of water when outdoors! And he learned to trust in God because again our prayers were answered...he left his wallet at the skating rink last week with his $20 in it from our garage sale and someone returned it with the $20 still inside, praise God!

My busy week isn't over yet... I finally got Grandma a new phone number and now she wants a new chair delivered to the nursing home in the morning (by your's truly, not UPS) and tomorrow my ebay auctions will be over (I promised a friend I'd sell some things for her in exchange for 30% of the profits... I've gotta make money some how!). Then we're trekking it to Dallas for the Celebrate Freedom concert at Southfork Ranch this Saturday.

Now it's time to play Rummy with my son while my daughter is off at work at Taco Bell (first job!) and my husband is out umpiring a little league baseball game. The dishes aren't done and there's laundry to do, but I've got my priorities! A mom's work is never done...
