Monday's to do list
Candy at Keeping the Home is calling for readers of her site to post their daily to-do lists. Since I’ve been having problems with the keeping of my home since Abby’s birth, I decided to join in for a little motivation. Most people are listing their lists on her site or linking to their blogs, but I’m kind of shy about stuff like that so I’m just going to post it here for me.
Today was kind of off kilter because my oldest son went to church camp and we spent the morning getting everyone ready and driving to camp. Dave took a half a day to help me since the baby does not care for the car seat too much and me carrying the baby and luggage into the dormitory would have been funny. Anyway, we didn’t get home until after
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
· Decluttered master bedroom and bathroom
· Washed diapers
· Swept and mopped the floors (HUGE undertaking because this is the entire house)
What I still need to do:
· Clean kitchen and mop the floor in there
· Get self ready for bed
· Of course, nurse the baby
· Read my Bible and work on curriculum order
My wonderfully helpful husband has also helped out a lot today. He held the baby when I was busy and needed to do things. He also folded and put away some clothes that were not finished on Friday. (Like I said, I’ve had a hard time getting things done here lately. The baby likes to be held a lot!) He cooked supper because I was in the middle of getting the floors done.
That’s our day. It was a good one and the house smells so good since the floors are clean now. We do miss our oldest son quite a bit tonight though. It’s always strange when someone is gone! Hopefully I’ll get a lot done tomorrow as I’m hoping that having my list posted will help me stay motivated. Of course, a lot depends on my darling little baby who wants nothing more than to be in her mommy’s arms!
