Ella Shae Maddiex

The new baby (Ella) was born four days ago and today we got some new pictures that I thought I'd share with you all.

We got these the day she was born. Here's my dad holding her,

And here I'm holding her. 

And here's me holding her (again) sitting next to two of my brothers. Triton (left) and Vincent  (right).  

And these we got today. Here's my third brother Zarek holding Ella.

 Here's Ella. She's SO cute!  :D

Well anyway, I just thought I'd post these. She's so tiny because she's only four pounds, seven ounces and eighteen inches long and she hardly fits in the dresses my mom made for her.   :) Hope you enjoyed them!

Hey eveyone, sorry I haven't been on for a while! We've been VERY VERY busy because my dad just got a new job last week at a store here called Kroger. But I plan on being on more often. And 'til then I thought I'd just post some pictures 'til I got back on track.    ;-)  Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Spotted Leopard Moth

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I last posted. We've been very busy lately. I have two things to post, but first of all, I'm going to tell you about something we found. (As you can see from the title.) My uncle and my dad have been clearing out the backyard the past few weeks. Taking trees down, planting things, and cleaning up.  And a while back we found a caterpillar that looks like this.

 When we found it my dad put it in a jar and we've kept it since. It eats things like dandelion leaves so that's what I had been feeding it (because we have plenty of those!). Right now it's already made it's cocoon and we are going to keep it until it turns into a Spotted Leopard moth that will look like this.

They are actually kind of pretty.    :)

Anyway, my mom went to her appointment the other day, (for the baby) and guess what? It's going to be a girl! Since I'm the only girl in this family (besides my mom of course) I'm really excited. My parent's are going to name her Ella Shae Maddiex. Isn't that cute? I'm praying everything will go well and that she will be born healthy. Thank you for your prayers too!  And if you'd like to, you can stop by my mom's blog and leave her a comment.   ;)

As for anything else, not much has been going on. We all went to the Little Rock zoo Saturday and I got sick Saturday night lol. This cold I've had isn't lasting very long though because I think today mine is already going away and my oldest brother, Triton,  had it before me and my mom thought it was just his allergies because he didn't even run a fever. So not much.   :) Well, I'll post when I have more news!!!!

Hi everyone!

Hello!

Just a quick post to let you all know that I'm still on! We've been a little busy lately because our car has a problem and my dad and uncle have been working on it, my mom is going to start going to appointments now (for the baby), and we've been doing piano lessons. Besides the fact I can't seem to find anything worth posting LOL.   :P So feel free to keep coming by because I'm planning on posting more soon!   :)

Our family's new eight legged friend

Me and my family decided to take a walk today and on the way back my brother said he saw a spider. My parents were  talking so they didn't hear yet and I turned to look. There on the ground in front of a neighbors house was a small tarantula! My aunt said that there were tarantulas here but I hadn't seen them before. In fact, I've never seen a tarantula in my life.  And so, I pointed it out to my parents and my dad decided he wanted to catch it. He likes doing this kind of thing.  ;) So as my dad went and got a jar for it, me, my mother, and all three of my brothers waited. Unfortunately for me I had to watch it so that it couldn't get away.  Then it started to run so I grabbed a stick and then it got angrier. I must admit, it did make me uneasy when he tried to run up my skirt! My mom said she had never seen me move so quickly in all my life.  :D I didn't know that when my dad cought it though, that it would become our new pet. (At least for a while he said.) I have yet to think of a name for it but I'm sure I can soon. And to this very minute he is still in a jar in my parents' room. And at least he is not as, well, upset with me as he was. he looks kind of like this, 

Except he is smaller than many tarantulas so he must be a baby. I don't think I ever really want to see a full grown one LOL. So now we have three cats and one spider.

Here are some pictures of my three little kittys! We just got the pictures yesterday.  :)

This is me getting ready to have their picture taken (my dad got these by the way).  

Here is Shadow first,

As you can guess, Shadow (and Midnight) don't like to be held much but luckily we managed some pictures. Now here is Midnight,

Midnight is the blackest cat I've ever seen. When she was born, you could hardly see anything but a black furrball.  :) Her pawpads are even black.

And now, Elektra.

 In the picture above, Elektra seemed to have looked away just as we were going to get it. LOL. and here she is playing with a stick,

Aren't they all cute? Midnight and Shadow turned 1 year old just some months ago. But unfortuentley, I couldn't get any pictures because my family and me  got really sick on their birthday. But Elektra is three year old. I love them all so much.  :) I hope you all enjoyed the pictures!!!!

Poems, pictures, ect.

I'm finding it rather hard to post things lately. Not the fact that we've been very busy lately but that I cannot think of a simple thing to post about! And that it is becoming winter of course and we therefore, must stay in the house when it rains.  :) But thanks to my uncle, he gave me and my brothers our own computer and now I get to get on everyday. Today, (since I haven't posted anything since August, or in other words, a month) I will post some poems and maybe a few pictures here in there. Hope you enjoy it even though it's just a bunch of random things!

Frogs

I have been looking for something to post about for a few days so I thought I'd post this! (Please note the frog above is not the frog that I am going to tell you about. These were brown.)

Day before yetserday I was in my room taking my shoes off from just being outside when I heard my mother calling me. So I ran to the kitchen (which leads to the backyard) and asked her what she needed. She said that my grandmother needed to show me something so I ran back to my room to put my shoes back on again. Then I ran outside to see what she needed and there was my grandma kneeling down and looking at something in the grass. She told me that she had thought it was a bug and that's exactly what I thought it was until I went over and looked and there in the grass was a little brown frog! My grandma said that my dad was mowing the lawn and the little guy needed to be saved because they didn't know that they should get out of the way. So my grandma asked, "Are you afraid of him?" and I didn't hesitate to say no. I scooped the little frog into my hand and could feel him trying to escape but I had to hold onto him. Just then while my dad was mowing he called me. I ran over there to see what he was needing and saw he was pointing at another larger brown frog. At that moment I didn't know what to do. I couldn't possibly hold both little frogs at once because they were so squirmy! Me and my mother looked at each other with questioning glances and both thought that there was no way to catch him. Then my mother had an idea. My grandma said she'd watch the frog and me and my mother ran into the house as fast as we could and looked for something to put him in. I tried to find something while still holding the first frog in my hand and then my mother grabbed a wipe box and wiped it out and then I put the little frog inside it.  Then I ran outside to get the other one. After chasing it around the yard for a few minutes I scooped it up into my hands and tried to quickly put it into the box before the other hopped out. And then at last! They were safe. There was no more panicking  (chasing frogs). I went into the house to show my three brothers and to hold them in the box until my dad was done mowing the lawn. And then when he was done I went outside to release them. I asked my grandma where to release them and she said in her garden (yes we have our own garden now!) because they eat bugs that are harmful to the vegetables. And so I did.

Thought I'd post that since I had nothing else to post about lately.  :)

We have a lot of animal's around here now. We have frogs, cardinals, mocking birds, Turtles, little snakes, rabbits and dragonflys that are the size of a baseball! Why just the other day, I went outside to feed my cats and I saw a little lizard underneath the cardboard on our backporch.  :)  Simply wonderful. The only problem is that everytime I come outside I get bitten by mosquitos and chiggers! I had so many bites when we first got  here that I think I've actually become allergic LOL. Hope you enjoyed the post!
