State Exploration Assignment #4

I finally have the chance to do this States Exploration assignment now!

State Flower: Oregon grape

State Bird: Western Meadowlark

State tree: Douglas-fir

State park: Oregon has many state parks but I don't know of any that is it famous for.

State soil: Oregon has approximately 2,000 different types of soil. the depth of Oregon's topsoil averages about 10 ". This varies greatly from the coastal areas, forests, valleys, and Southern and Eastern regions of the state.

State Agriculture: Crops account for 69% of the states total sales. Greenhouse & Nursery products, grass seed, hay, wheat, potatoes, christmas trees, onions, and pears are the leading crops in Oregon. Oregon leads the nation in the production of blakberries, hazelnuts, loganberries, black raspberries, ryegrass seeds, Orchard grass seed, sugar beats for seed, crimson clover, fescue seed, red clover seed, prunes and plums, Dungeness crab, potted florist azaleas, christmas trees and dried herbs.

State industry: Beef cattle and dairy products are the most impotant livestock commodities in Oregon and rank as second and fifth on the top commodity list. Groundfish, crab, shrimp, tuna, salmon, and oysters are important to the commercial fishing industry in Oregon.
