Hi,

I saw your blog listed in those online and I thought I'd have a look. My name is Hannah-Ruth and I am a Christian, home-schooling girl too. I have one younger sister, three guinea-pigs and one cat. Thank you for adding me! I'm sorry that we couldn't talk on my cbox yesterday. It was late and I was getting ready for dinner and bed. Maybe we can talk someother time! :) And no, I do not mind if you call me Jessica. In fact everyone calls me that. :) My cats breeds? Hmmmm, we believe they are Maine Coons. If I am correct, we adopted my cat (and her name is Elecktra) when she was about 4 weeks old. Her mother was a house cat and we are pretty sure her father was wild because she is very fiesty for a female cat. I also have two kittens (if I haven't mentioned that before) that are her two female kittens. They are also very fiesty for females. So anyway, we think she is Maine Coon but she could be domestic or part domestic and part Maine Coon. :) We live in a place where people keep A LOT of black and black and white cats! I have always loved black, and black and white cats. But I also think that grey is pretty too. My two kitten's names are Midnight and Shadow. One's black, and the other is grey kind of silver. I'm sorry I left such a long comment! But when I get started on something I get into the details LOL! :)

Your cats sound lovely!!! I like the maine coon breed too. I like your cat's name! We adopted Amy from the RSPCA when she was about 9 months old. They said that Amy was a house cat too but she loves to get outside on her leash. It's red. We found that it got really annoying listening to her sit at the door and meow to go outside all the time but we didn't want to risk losing her (like we did our other cat) so we walk her on a leash. One day our other cat was out walking and she just never came home.

I'd be sad if I lost my cats. I let my cat out on a leash too. And it's pink. We keep my three cats in a pen outside because they shed a lot and it makes more work to have to pick it up. Plus, when I had my cat Elektra in the house when we first adopted her, she liked to hide under the couch climb my bookshelf and be noisy in the middle of the night. She would also bite your feet if the hung of they bed LOL. And eventualy she didn't want to use the litter box all the time. So we put her in a pen along with her two kittens. :) Maybe some cats are just ment to be outside cats. Like I had told you in my last comment, we think she's part wild. I also like Maine Coon breeds. We didn't know she was maybe part Maine Coon or, well, you get it until we got a book that explained about a Maine Coon's fur and behavior. Then we figured out that she might be a Maine Coon. I'm glad you like really long comments otherwise that may be a problem! ;)

Yes, my sister and I were both very sad as the house felt very lonely without her home too. :(
I'd love to have a pink leash for our cat. I wanted to get her another one as the red one belonged to our other cat when she was with us. I could imagine them shedding such long fur!!!!!!!!!!! Then do you class a Maine Coon's fur as long or medium??? Our cat is short haired. I haven't read much about Maine Coon cats because we've never had any to worry about. Yes, I definitely love comments so it certainly won't be a problem!!! :)

So what have you been up to lately? I would probably class a Maine Coon's fur as long but it depends on the particular kind of Maine Coon. There are a few different kinds. I have a book that has a page or two just on Maine Coon's so if you have any questions just ask I would be pleased to look it up for you! :) Thank you for coming by again!

I haven't been up to much lately actually. What have you been up to? I am on my weekend break at the moment. :)

Oh, I never realised that there were different kinds of Maine Coon. I thought the Maine Coon was just one breed. (But I guess not...) Thank you very much for being willing to answer my questions. I'll have to consult Amy (my cat) and see if she has any questions for you. :) :) :)

Yes, that's what I do most times I'm on the computer. My sister and I only have a certain amount of time on the computer, on weekends.

Alright. I consulted Amy and she said that she would be very happy to come up with some questions for you...Meow! (She can make them really hard. :))

Oh OK. I should research a bit about Maine Coons on the internet. A while ago, my family and I were looking at buying a ragdoll cat but we didn't in the end because of how expensive they were. We adopted Amy from the RSPCA instead.

No problem! I love getting comments and also writing them!!!
