What I Know About the Resurrection. by Catherine Elizabeth Smith |

Granddaddy has seven horses. My favorite is Cocoa. He is a chocolate horse, and a foxtrotter, and a gaited horse. I like Cocoa because he has a cool color on his mane and his body. He lets me pet him and kiss him on the forehead when I come to give him sweet treats. He is a very nice horse. Popcorn is my sister's favorite horse. I like Popcorn and Cocoa very much. My dad likes to ride Smokey. He is very calm, like popcorn. Granddaddy's horse is Redd Fox. My mom cannot ride Redd Fox. For the summer, some people gave my Granddaddy two horses to pick out and see which one is the best to buy. We know that he is going to buy both of them, and the two horses that we are going to keep for the summer are Smokey and Rusty. Rusty is going to turn five very soon. Smokey is eleven. He has Scout. She is my Uncle's horse. She had a baby last spring, and his name is Tiger. Tiger is a very dangerous horse because he doesn't know alot about us, and Tiger is one year old. We used to have a very pretty horse. She was white. Her name was Sugar, but we sold her. Also, we used to have two black horses named Lady Die and Lady. They looked like twins. Granddaddy has Cocoa, Popcorn, Redd Fox, Smokey, Rusty, Scout, an Tiger. He also has fifteen cows. |
