Thanksgiving is almost here!

Hey! I haven't been on here in a little while, so I thought that I'd post! :) THanksgiving is almost here! I can't wait and I can't believe it! After that, is Christmas, and I can't believe just how fast time flies! I mean, seriously, one day it's January then it's Christmas. Amazing! I've been practicing the piano and my teacher said that I should be done with my first set of books by Christmas; I hope I can get them done, plus I'm only on level one. But, she said I should go through them pretty quickly! I've been thinking of things to get my family for Christmas; like, I made my younger sister a dress. I'm not the best at sewing things together, but I thik it turned out pretty good. I'm gonna try to do some homemade items for presents this year and see how it goes! Oh, I have this wonderful recipe that I got from Girlhood Home Companion. It is so good, and I recommend you try it! YUM! Here it is:

Strawberry Pie Cookie

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

1 c. butter

2 c. flour

1¼ c. powdered sugar

strawberry jam

Put softened cream cheese in mixing bowl.

Add 2 sticks of butter.

Add the flour and powdered sugar.

Combine ingredients on the side of the bowl. Cover &

refrigerate for 1 hour. Sprinkle flour on

table; spoon out dough and roll to 1/8 in. thick.

Cut out bottom crusts. Spoon out jam onto bottom crust;

Place crust on top. Crimp edges with a fork;

and cut a slit in the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes until done.
