Seems like whenever I'm not feeling so good about anything really, one of you HSers out there cheers me up. Thanks.
So, I need to tell you how wonderful it was to see my lilacs blooming
the last two days, and the bright red snapdragons in the front yard.
The tulips and daffodils are still blooming too. And out in the
sagebrush fields, there's sunflowers and wild lupine.
OK. I just need to remember all these beautiful flowers that God made
to bless me the next time I'm feeling frustrated with my mothering
skills ... or lack of them. When I put it all back in
perspective, she's His child. He'll help me figure it out. Not that He
won't do it through one of you, of course ...
You're all so wonderful. Keep up the great posts.

my back yard smells so wonderful...left overs from the previous owners who had quite a green thumb. Enough that three years after my abuse, the yard is still full of color and wonderful smells in the spring (with a few more weeds than before). There are days I hope that it will be like that with my children...that I just won't mess them up too bad. Just some weeds in there that perhaps won't be so hard for them to pull. No root damage. But then I remember that no one is perfect. We are all sinners. And an inexplicable outburst now and again is part of being a kid and trying to figure out where the lines are. And mom losing it now and again is, well, part of being human. And focusing too much on the wrong things. And not getting enough sleep. So, goodn ight!
Don't worry about shipping...we've been blessed enough to not have to worry about such little expenses! Just send me your address (not on the blog, obviously...who knows who will show up on your doorstep!)
