Thankful Thursday

I like this meme because it forces me to make a conscious effort to stop & think about those things for which I need to thank God!  It's hosted by Sting My Heart.

This week I am thankful for...

• ...possibilities for ministry that are beginning to appear.  We're praying that God makes it clear to us as to which are HIS will and which are just our hopes.
• ...we got through another school day without too much drama (my Gigi is quite the drama queen).  I cut her some slack, though, because she is a little girl.  It kind of goes with the territory.  I see theater in her future!
• ...several nice family nights this week.  We enjoy each other's company.
• ...a positive balance in our checking account at the end of the week – even if it is just $20.41!
• ...not having an MS relapse in the past 13 weeks!!!  Four weeks was my record, and I'm so glad to break that one!

Today I am thankful for:

• A husband who loves me beyond my wildest dreams...
• An unexpected email from a wonderful friend with whom I had lost contact with for a while...
• People in the medical field who truly care about helping me instead of just about getting paid...
• The privilege to spend quality time with my daughter every single day...
• That our oil tank is still half full...
• My God who comforts me, protects me, chastens me, and directs me along the way...
