I got this idea from a young missionary girl who spends much of her time living among a village of Muslims in Africa. I thought I'd see if there was any interest among our group. I've really felt led to be really prayed up before we go to Mexico at Christmas. (our family's first mission trip, which is already proving to be a challenge!)
The idea is that we take the days of the month (31) and have each person who wants to be involved sign up for a day. On that day you pick, I would be praying for you and your family and you for me and mine. It would be great to have the whole month filled up, and it would even be OK to have some days doubled up on. I just think it would be really neat to know that someone is praying for you specifically on certain days (or all days) of the month. Does that make sense?
It would work something like this...you could just choose a date that is available and we would commit to praying for each other on that specific day. Let me know if there is any interest. If someone signs up for the 29-31 of the month and it is a month without that many days, I think we could commit to praying for each other on the last day of the month, no matter if it's the 28th-31st. I'll update as the dates get taken. I'd love to have a special day of each month to pray for each one of you!! If you are interested in taking a day, please email me or leave a comment!
