6.10.2006 - Not Quite the Circus...

Posted in Just For Giggles

Just thought I'd share a moment of our Saturday fun.  Jaron was doing some digging (grr...) and he came across the bag of long balloons from a party or two ago... and of course, he knew where the pump was... so, it was circus clown mom to the rescue...rescue from what? 10 minutes of boredom, I guess...

For the first few minutes the simple snakes and 'hats' sufficed...

Then they remembered mom can make balloon doggies... so, recalling the clowning days of my teen years I made several puppies, popping a few balloons along the way and everyone was grins and giggles, for a few minutes anyway!

Just thought I'd share that little sneak peak into a Saturday around here... the afternoon is taming down after the balloon circus, we may have to bake something as we have a serious cold front hanging over us (we went from 90's to 60's in a couple days... ) and it just may be one of the last good baking days before fall... brownies anyone?

Hello, and thanks for stopping by! I would LOVE some brownies! :) Neat balloon circus, if you are able to make balloon animals then your definitely talented in my book....we too have went from hot temps to the 60s today, but I love it! :)

I too hope that Mattie (the baby stallion) heals from whatever his ailment is...they were able to load him up (taking his mom along for comfort) and transport him to MSU as he was still down this morning....have a great weekend!

I'll take brownies and a yellow balloon doggie, please.

You know that makes you a cool mommy, right? Yup, my mom achieved that status when we found out she could JUGGLE! Very cool when you're a little kid!

Love,
Marsha

I can only juggle a little... my husband's better at that than me! But my son did get a bok and some juggling balls from grandma for his birthday a couple of years ago and every so often we take them out and work on improving technique...

I wish our temps would drop back down to the 60's. We are expecting to hit 100 today. I think summer in our part of the south has arrived a little early!

Let me know what you think of Little Men when you get it. It's my favorite of all of Alcott's books. Just curious if others feel the same way.

Cute, cute, cute! What fun. Balloons are so inexpensive and the kids just love them. My kids like to water balloons. They are .99 at Big Lots.

If we were neighbors I would love for you to com over and look at Memoria Press stuff too. It would be great to be with someone who thinks it's exciting too :D

Blessings,
Linda<><

How fabulously fun and cute! Your girls are just too cute! Great pics. Aren't you glad you blogged that so you can go back to that on crabby less than fun days and be inspired again? I can hardly wait to have more little ones running around. We have so much fun at times already it's hard to imagine it getting better!

Blessings,
Traci :)
