My Grace Is Sufficient For Thee

Started Back Up & Going Great!

We started schooling again yesterday & things seem to be going pretty nice. My DC haven't given me much fuss about doing their work (which is ve-------ry  unusual for them). Hopefully they are coming to the knowledge of how important their  education is.

We've actually done Reading, English, Math, Penmanship, & Spelling, along with some spelling games. Their off to a great start for coming out of holidays of nothing but reading.

I am changing a few things this year to see how it works with my DC. I desire everyone's prayers. I am stepping out on my own with a few things & I am a bit scared.

Well, I thought I had a few minutes to put a new post in, but one of my little darlings  needs my attention. I'll write more later. Blessihngs to you all, Traci

Jan. 9, 2008 - Hello....

Posted by AlethiaAcademy

I just stumbled on your blog today and thought I would say hello.

When I was in high school I stayed with a family that had both parents blind. They were very godly people and I learned a lot from him.

I remember the man would walk out on the deck every morning and give the weather report - it was amazing - he could say the temperature, dew point, barometric pressure - etc! I was impressed. The lady knew where everything was in her kitchen - she could cook up a storm. The only thing they couldn't do was drive - so they hired that out. They raised 3 daughters.

Also I have a good friend who is in her 60's and blind. She is such a servant and prayer warrier. I remember the day she invited our family for dinner. I had to remind her that there was seven of us. She assured me that she already knew that and that she wanted us all to come. What a delightful lady - she had a pork roast, salad, vegetables, potatoes - even a relish tray! She is very active and an inspiration to me.

Take care

Audrey

My name is Traci & I am a homeschool Mom of 2 wonderful children, Sarah Grace & Zephaniah. They are my little prayer partners. It's only through prayer that we make it day by day. I am legally blind so my call from God is a little more difficult than some, but I feel like God would not have it any other way than for me to train up the children He lent to me in life.Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. That lets me know that God will give me the strength day by day no matter how hard the task may be.
