My Grace Is Sufficient For Thee

Its been a while! We have been on vacation since September 17. We went to Oklahoma to see our granddaughter for the first time. She is 7 months old now. The visit was great & she was a little sweety. I think she stole her Pa Pa's heart. We took pictures & I'll be posting some soon.

We also went camping for a week at the Wichita Wild Life Refuge. I don't know who enjoyed it more, the children or the parents. Seeing God's nature with live animals, hiking, sleeping in tents, & cooking over an open fire or grill. It was great! My DS is excited that he got to make coffee like the old cowboys used to do it. I also got many pictures of our camping trip that I am going to post soon.

Well, just wanted to get an updated post on my blog so I'll go for now. Hope you all have been having a great year with your schooling. Blessings, Traci

Isn't camping a blast! We spent 8 days camping this summer. We had intended to go to Yellow Stone, but the gas prices were horrendous. We stayed locally. When all was said and done, I had much more fun, not traveling. What amazes me most about camping are the memories created. The time you can spend playing games around the campfire. And yes....there is nothing like cowboy coffee.

The only thing I hate is cleaning up the mess when you are all done. By day 8 I felt like everything was grossly dirty. It didn't help that it rained our last morning.

My son caught an albino catfish on this trip. That was interesting.

About Me

My name is Traci & I am a homeschool Mom of 2 wonderful children, Sarah Grace & Zephaniah. They are my little prayer partners. It's only through prayer that we make it day by day. I am legally blind so my call from God is a little more difficult than some, but I feel like God would not have it any other way than for me to train up the children He lent to me in life.Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. That lets me know that God will give me the strength day by day no matter how hard the task may be.
