I am not new to Blogging(well sorta) I have another blog on msn. As my title states-New Beginnings-I thought I'd begin anew.

Let me begin by saying I hope and pray that this year is better than last. We had a LOT to deal with last year. There were several deaths in the family. The hardest was my grandfather. We found out he had an aggessive cancer on Aug 9th, chemo and radiation did not help, the cancer cells grew faster than they wer being killed. He lost the battle on Nov 4th. It was a hard Holiday Season without him. He will be greatly missed.

Another thing we had to deal with is I had to go back to work, part-time, but thankfully, I am still able to homeschool. However because of going back to work and deaths in the family as well as other issues this last year, schooling has just been kind of BLAH!! Hopefully with the new year things will look up on that front as well.

The other thing from last year is I had surgery right at the beginning of the school year.

Anyway, enough of the bad, lets look to the good. I still have a wonderful family and I am still able to homeschool the kids. We had a great Christmas despite the loss of my grandfather. I am looking forward to a new year.
