Dear Kathryn,
Well today I start fresh. I'm not real sure where to start, so I guess I'll start at the beginning. My parents are Jonathan And Margaret Bakerman. Two years after Mama and Daddy were Married, I joined them. They named Me Annette Louise, after Great Grandma weaver.
I'm a pretty spunky girl, At least that's what Daddy always says. And I have a head full of Pure black curls.
"The picture of her Mother" Grandma (Mama's mother) says.
Unfourtunately,I say what I'm thinking quite a bit, and Always regret it afterwards. I guess you could say I'm quite blunt, and not proud of it in the least.
sadly I don't have a single brother, nor sister. It gets quite lonesome at home sometimes.Perhaps you'll be a good friend, Kathryn. I'm already feeling quite attatched to you.Are you the same? Why of course not! you're only a book of paper pages, and have no feelings at all. But it almost seems that You care about me,for you'll always be around when I want you,And I can tell you anything I want. Even Horrid things about YOU and you won't mind a bit. Kathryn, I believe dear Granny was right, It's only been a day, and already I like you. But I don't quite adore you yet. At least, not like I adore Daddy, or Grandpa. Maybe someday, but not now.
Daddy is taking Mother and I down for a row in the boat on our pond, So I'll close just now. Perhaps I'll tell you a little more tomorrow.
Until then, I remain,Your friend,
Annette |
