Dear Kathryn,
Well, My cousin Loretta is here with Auntie and Uncle. They arrived yesterday. I Truly am joyful that they're here. Daddy says It looks like it's going to be raining all weekend,If Loretta weren't here I'd be dreadful Bored. Perhaps more than Dreadful.
After Dinner last evening, Loretta and I explored upstairs. I don't believe I ever mentioned that we live in an Extremely grand house. Pardon me! well, we do, and it has about I don't know, five floors, maybe more. I've never been through the whole house. Mrs. Reimer says it's so large that "a little thing like Me would get lost in no time." Mrs. Reimer scares Me sometimes. That's why I haven't explored the whole place yet. any way, Back to our evening, Loretta and I found the stairs to the Attic and Had a grand time looking at All the Ancient things up there. Mama's Grandma's old dresses and photo albums. Sewing Machines,Old Cameras, and Shoes! We enjoyed ourselves immensly! But as Mr. Mc. Krugger, Mama's Butler, always says "all good things must always come to an end." He's such a Jolly Old Fellow!) so we slipped back downstairs And bid Mama and Daddy goodnight before we retired to My bedroom for the night.
That's about all for now!
your Friend,
Annette
