Sometimes it's hard when we just can't seem to find God in all that's going on in our lives. I think that I still have some posts in my archives relating to similar feelings. (((hugs)))

One thing that God reminded me of not too long ago is that He doesn't owe me anything! After a disappointment that I'd really prayed that the Lord would have taken care of - I was feeling -- I dunno - just distance from God, I guess. And as clear as day He told reminded me that anything that I receive from Him is pure grace and mercy and that He owes me nothing.

However much I wish it weren't true...it's true. We know that He's working behind the scenes. How do we know? Because His word tells us so and sometimes all we have is what we know to be true and His word is truth.
