Work day

This morning we spent a little time doing chores around the house.

My enthusiastic group of workers... (yes we're missing one - this is what happens when they get driver's licenses)

Spent some time working on this...

In hope that it will someday look like this....

My littlest worker clearing out the trash so big brother can rake the leaves away.

Of course, we have to stop and check out the frogs we were fishing out of the pond, er...pool.

We also worked on cleaning the cabinets.  Ugh, what a bother.

Some people were less than pleased about their work orders....

I also made bread this morning while we were working.  16 Cups of flour becomes this....

Kids enjoyed warm bread and butter (one of my kids favorites) for lunch.

I didn't get any pictures of hubby.  He kindly fixed our garage door opener and our front screen door.

For some reason, your post appeared to me to be all in webdings or some other similar symbolic font. I wasn't sure if that was an April fool's joke or some weird computer thing. I copied your post to Word and changed the font so I could read it. Looks like you all had a very productive day!

Whoa! Webdings for typeface! Very creative. I, however, was able to read the real text in my bloglines account. Thank goodness because I was not as creative as the previous commentor to copy and paste into Word and change the font. Brilliant!

Well guys, I don't know what happened. I've switched to a different font and hopefully that fixed it. I couldn't see the odd font.

Thanks Di, for letting me know what happened.

Oh, I'm coming over for a swim and bread!! Two of my favorites. There's something about thsee first few Saturdays in Spring...they are perfect for all the end-of-winter chores. I remember grumbling when we had to do them as a kid, but now I find it rejuvenating...don't worry, our kids will come around and one day enjoy it, too!

Lovely pictures and wow! It looks warm where you are! We've had hail showers today and the animals haven't gone out in their run because it's coooold!
Can we come over? LOL.
Enjoy the bread - I have just been loaned a breadmaker and made the first loaf the other day - I wonder how long till the novelty wears off? I've made bread by hand a lot in the past but not recently.

What beautiful loaves of bread! Mine always, always, always turn out flat! And I have to admit, the pool was a delightful science experiment! LOL!
