2 Blessings in 1 weekend

It turns out that we had two visitors this past weekend.  Our doggie visitor was quite  a sweetie and gave us no problems.   We hope he can come back again soon.

He couldn't quite figure out why he wasn't allowed to play with Catherine's guinnea pigs and we found him upstairs a few times trying to "visit" them.

My oldest daughter's parish was hosting a 3 day music seminar and we housed a lady coming from Wisconsin.  Philothea (isn't that a lovely name?) was such a joy to meet.  It was one of those experiences of meeting someone and it clicked right away, as if we had known each other for years.  Both she and my daughter were gone all day and wouldn't get back until 9 or 10pm.  Then Philothea and I (and sometimes hubby) would chat for an hour or more.  I think we both came away quite blessed.  Hubby and I went to the Saturday Night Vigil.  All the attendees participated in the choir.  It also included a visit from their Metropolitan (Archbishop).  Here are some pix I took.

I regret that I did not get any pictures of the whole choir.  But here is Father G. as choir director and dd reading some of the Psalms (at least I think thats what it was).

Okay, so I'm trying to be a little artsy with these.  I loved the way the candles looked while all the lights were out.

Wish I could have heard that! I love that Russian music.

Say, would you and Dorothy say a prayer for Marianne tomorrow? He's having surgery on her foot and we know that some of it is coming off. We hope not much. You can imagine how devastating to an organist. Her surgery is at 11 tomorrow morning. - Bill

I hope Timothy gets over the sickness quickly- I'm afraid I don't know much about Lyme Disease- it's from ticks?
I like your candlelight pictures!
Have a great week,

Beautiful photos! I'm so glad you had a lovely weekend.

And, that Brothers K is taking off (whispers - when exactly is that?)
