Deb on the run

Dec. 6, 2006

I have pondered a lot about the ordinations on Saturday and what to write here.  There is just no way I can properly put it into words without sounding mushy and emotional.  To say it was "great" is too obvious and to say it was "glorious" is just too sipid.  So I'll just steal the words from the envoys of Vlad when they visited Hagia Sofia in search of the true faith:

"We no longer knew whether we were in heaven or on earth."

I've also been waiting to see if the OCA website would have pictures available since mine turned out rather pitifully.  I'll keep checking back and post here if they ever come up.

Truly--I completely understand this...I have experienced it countless times.

Don't forget to point us to the pics when they come!

Now, I think that's rather greedy, that you keep the joy to yourself and don't put the experience into words - even if they can't capture the whole - that your readers might at least catch a glimpse of heaven on earth. Bill
