She's Leavin' on a Jet Plane

Posted in Family Life

Today my eldest left for LA with her cousin Trevor.  They've gone out to visit their other cousin Marcus and his new bride, Brittany.   Marcus and Brittany are DTS leaders with YWAM.   I'm sure they will have a fun filled, busy week, but I'll miss my little girly.

Here she is with her newest Sari (she loves traditional Indian and Ren clothes). Another cousin sent it to her from India as she was passing through on her way to Thailand (she's also a DTS leader with YWAM)

This is her from Sun.  She has a Salwar on, but you can't see much of it.  I think she either got from a friend or at the local Salvation Army store (thats where she got her first one).  I'll have to  get a proper picture of it when she gets back because the embroidery work is quite beautiful

I will pray! I have just sent my ds14 away for 19 days on a missions' trip. I have spent the past few days in prayer since putting him on a plane last Friday and will continue to until we see him again, Lord willing. I know about missing them! What ever will it be like when they are gone? Way too quiet!

Blessings,
Becky

It's so quiet when they're gone! . What a neat interest she has...I love to hear about children and the interests and passions they've devleoped. I replied to your question about games and hands on materials. I hope it is what you were looking for...

I'd love to read your recommendations, too.

Your daughter is beautiful! I look forward to meeting her! By the way, how old is she?
