This and that

Posted in Family Life

School went peacefully today.  Not much to report- except we got it done .  Peter has been asking to do grammer again (only a homeschooler will ASK to do grammar!) and thats the only thing we missed, because....well...I forgot.

Oldest daughter and her cousin come home tonight.  Their flight arrives at 11:50pm and I'm regretting offering to pick them up.  I figured its easier to stay up an extra 2 hours rather taking them there in the middle of a busy day.  But, that was before my 4 yr old had me up much of last night.  Ugh.

Deb:
To answer your question, the pieces for Christ and the church are eaten. I don't know what the church does with these pieces when they do their Vasilopeta. It is usually done in the church hall...it really isn't part of the day's liturgy. I will have the bread recipe my mother has used for years and years, in just a few days. I need to confirm a few things with her. She has her recipe in her head! I also added to the post that at Easter, the same bread is made, but a red hard boiled egg is put in the center for decoration (prior to baking).
Thanks for stopping by!

My kids are always amazed at how I can forget to *do* Grammar and not Math. They'd much rather skip the math!

Also, thanks for visiting my blog. Your comments are such a blessing.
